I don't really know where to put this but from the front page saying about this figure. I went to Amazon and pre-ordered my figure just in case this figure sells out. I've secured my copy as long as Amazon doesn't cancel my order. Just glad i was able to pre-order or else i think it would be a cluster to get it.

So definitely worth having a moan because they are basically stealing if you pay that much for shipping a single deluxe, even in a fancy box!

Proof once again that a strongly-worded letter will get you something free, like a nation or shipping on plastic action figures.

No it isn't, at all, they really need to taken to task for that but persevere and you'll find the right button on there somewhere!

 

So ya, the long description states:

So those panels on the chests are likely for the prime armor, with an added benefit of being able to hide the faction symbol.

But I plan on seeing what he looks like using the prime armor as a backpack instead of a baby bjorn. Proper faction symbol remains visible in robot mode, wrong faction symbol on back gets hidden, prime armor integrates but out of the way.

 

Decided to preorder...$25 is a good price for a deluxe plus a prime master. Plus I am a secret admirer of Punch/Counterpunch. Don’t want to regret skipping him and then lament at a $50 or so price tag.

I kinda feel like he's not worth the price, even if it's basically the same as a tru exclusive mark up back when standards were $10.

even if it turns into the distinct bots, it has a few too many bits i see as unfinished.

but if this starts a demand for better multibot alt mode sharers, i am all for it.

 

I know, but the Armada version of Sideways turn into a motorcycle, which is kind of impossible to retool from a car. And it is the only version of Sideways with a Headmaster-esque gimmick.

 

And I told you that the very same Sideways has been a car twice, and a headmaster once. There is no reason why we cannot get a “G1” Sidwaya who turns into a car and is a repaint/retool of Counterpunch.

 

Indeed no prime but a cheap add on of a box of band aids did the trick cheap

 

Of course, oldest trick in the book is inconveniencing your disgruntled customers to the point of them giving up.

 

sideways only ever had one robot mode, why would it make sense to repaint him from punch/counterpunch?

Is it really much of a stretch? In Armada his Mini-con masks would change depending on his alligment, and he could swap sides in an instant, playing both to his favor. Having two different robot modes to further hide his identity only seems like an evolution from that to me.

 

The most important thing is the wonderful purple, yellow and black color scheme that would look gorgeous on this mold!
