I tend to look at MMC and OX as 2 separate companies with the same owner. I absolutely love MMC (retire KM line, and R line).... but honestly I've dislike everything from OX (PS, RMX, U) until Infinite Finity line Eris. I feel these forums with the TF culture dominated by Genwunners and MPers, has made Me hate G1 and MPs so much, i also find the g1 designs plain and boring. But with IF-Line starting and Reformatted going idle with only a few releases a year, there is still hope for things more niche to come along. Instead of just PS: G1, RMX: G1 cassette tapes, and U: JG1.

My complaint was I couldn't get the screws out to apply the fix. I'll try again tomorrow, but I just might display this guy at the bottom of my trash can.

Which sucks, because the only Transformers I buy now a days is from MMC, (PX Cacus taught me a harsh lesson in going with a different company) because their quality is usually beyond reproach.

I personally really like this guy. Mine is solid 0 issues.
and he scales well enough for standard size as a leader/commander he fits right in with my dai atlas hod ginrai sets from takara.

I apologize I read as it where you not applied the fix. Warm him up a bit. It’ll soften the plastics. Also try applying a rubber band to the top of the screwdriver for some grip

Sorry my friend. I had a similar experience with mine including the lights on the front side of the chest not being glued properly so the whole thing, including being unpainted red, felt cheap and rushed. I know to replace the knees but like you I was disgusted and transformed it once and put it back in the box. I treat these like Faberge eggs so I will revisit this later and install the fixes and come at it with fresh eyes and attitude.

Well, I just ordered this guy from a local seller and it includes the knee parts. I’ve been on the fence for ages and at the price he was asking, I couldn’t pass it up. Excited!!

I hope you like it. I personally find it the weakest release since Seraphicus Prominion. It feels like it used cheaper materials and less paint so it could come in at the price point. I feel like this line of figures will be MMC's budget stuff, and the reformatted and OX stuff will be their more premium figures.

Yeah I definitely agree after watching reviews and seeing tons of pictures. I got it at a much cheaper price so I could finally justify it!

I didn't say cheap, I said cheaper. I can't handle MMC's Springer and Stellaris and say the materials feel of the same quality. Springer is notably better.

    He arrived!
He’s pretty fun all things considered.
The one thing that actually bothers me like crazy though are those outward hip ratchets. He likes to do the splits constantly.

Other than that and the heels hinging upwards, I like him!

Unexpectedly nice compatibility with Dr. Wu Optimus.

    Neat!

But I can’t unsee the smaller robot as Optimus Prime’s soul trying to escape/held prisoner/trapped on that bottom pic when he looks mangled up through the windows, lol. Like the big robot ate the smaller robot. :p
