Why'd he use our old test shot photo for his thumbnail, weird thing to do.

Lately Emgo has been using stock photos and whatnot for his thumbnails instead of taking his own pictures like he used to.

I think the prices for this guy are going to drop sooner rather than later. He may even end up getting clearanced. I have it and I like it, but it definitely has issues and overall is a decent figure but nothing special.

I’m sorry if this was brought up before.
But anyone else’s legs not stay extended when in robot mode? The weight above the knees is too much and they slide back down. Beautiful figure! But damn it’s annoying.

Yep, pretty common problem. There are two ways around it; you can either install the set of replacement parts that MMC provides or extend the legs fully and lay the robot on its back to let the springs unwarp. The former fixes it with zero issues, the latter is a stopgap that usually works well enough to keep it stable in a pose but if you ever transform it to truck and leave it you'll have the same issue when the unmodified springs warp again.

Would you happen to know how to come about those replacement pieces? Do I contact the retailer I purchased it from, or somewhere else? Thanks btw

Hmm, I bought Stellarus from A3U and they came in the box - I guess try contacting your retailer first and then reaching out to MMC if that fails!

Hmm. Starting to think it's a good thing Kapow still haven't had their stock in yet. I'm getting less and less enthusiastic about this the more I see, and after Optus Pexus and Eris, this definitely feels like a dropped ball.
Think I might cancel and maybe pick it up if there's a discount sometime, and if not, it's not looking like a huge loss.

The retailer you purchased from should provide it—- FWIW, it didn’t come included with mine but I contacted BBTS and they shipped it separately the next day.

My replacement leg stoppers arrived! The new stoppers seem to be identical to the old stoppers, but the difference seems to be that you need to put a rubber donut-shaped piece underneath the plastic stopper. The rubber donut serves like a spring to make the leg stopper stay flexed.

This is a rock-solid connection now. Before I installed the new stoppers, Star Convoy could barely support his weight without collapsing the thighs into the lower legs. Now, the leg extension is so rock-solid, I need to slap it like slapping a fresh magazine of bullets into a handgun in order to collapse the legs.

I might still get this guy after changing my mind initially, how has he held up despite the leg sliders? Glad to hear there’s some upgrade parts for those. Maybe get a copy with them already installed at some point.

I am still waiting on the parts via Omegalock. Despite not having the parts the figure in bot mode is rock solid.

Once I received the figure I extended the legs and left it for a day lying down to allow the springs to re-set.

Can pose the figure easily enough and no worries of it collapsing.

The problem will occur again if transforming to alt mode and leaving like that before going back to bot then the legs will slide down under the figure’s weight initially.

The figure is shipped in bot mode with the legs retracted.

Mine has held up wonderfully to several transformations and lots of posing. It’s a nice robust toy that I’m very happy with.

Finally had mine shipped from my stash at TCP. The leg locks were horrible out of the box but the fix was simple. Very impressed with this figure overall.

He just needs a proper sized Hot Rod to go with him. Still holding out for Dr Wu to provide that with their Micromaster sized line.

I've got an MIB copy for sale. 135 shipped if anyone is interested. Never transformed. Mine does not have the knee issue, but replacements will be included. PM me if interested. Con USA only.

    Edit: Gone!!!
