Between this and DNA Scorponok upgrades the wait for TFsource to get them is killing me lol.

Only going with them cause for the DNA set my wife bought it along with Savant, and for Convoy I have a large credit that I need to get rid of at some point.

Got this guy from the chosen prime today. Kit to fix the knees was included. Installing the knee fix took maybe half an hour. Well worth the time. Knees are solid now.

He checks the box. I don't have a micromaster or WST rodimus to pair him with so a legends scale figure will have to do.

Perfect. All it needs is some ramps coming off the legs.

finally got mine and wow this dude is cool.

He is HUGE and has an awesome MP silhouette. Probably not as much paint as you'd want on an MP but it is in all the places it matters.

It's also cool how you see where they found money saving mold design but it doesn't detract from the figure overall. Hasbro could learn a lesson here

Sky Garry and GRANDUS. I’m sure there’s a 0% chance of either, but a fella can dream.

The Papa Toys Hot Rod is perfect. Great match for the MP aesthetic.

Finally got him in today from TFsource. I just started collecting again last year after a long, long break (2007!), and this guy was one of my long hoped for figures. I couldn’t be happier. Well, maybe I could be happier. Like say if they did a Super Megatron, too. Then I’d be thrilled.

Honestly, even though I read the manga, I can't be bothered to remember Sky Garry, and Grandus is just the big one" in my memory. They don't do anything for me.

Super Megatron, though, is a must.

Tough to really say, Star Convoy doesn't really have much media to really base a scale off of.

But this guy is going in my MP collection and if it helps he is larger then MP starsaber

MP. I took some comparison pics of him with Magnus and mmc's Onslaught today.

Gave up on preordering this when I saw the legs would need fixing. Is that kit from MMC?

Does anyone know if there will be releases of this coming where it is assembled correctly without a kit? I love the idea of this but "fixing" brand new stuff is not for me.

Yes, the kit is from MMC. I have had to fix a lot of figures and although I hate the idea like you do it is P+P for this hobby. Once you fix it then that issue is gone. I actually have one of the front robot light pieces I have to glue back on that has me more pissed than unscrewing the legs to fix the knees. I am doubtful this gets a reissue. You have to do what's right for you but even with the problems I would still say this is a good figure once I fix it.

Figure surgery is one of my least favourite things. Fixing the legs on TE's Mirage was more than enough for the last few months.

I've got enough pre-orders for this year so unless MMC are fixing it themselves I think I'll resign this to the could have been list. Shame it's a nice looking figure but I'm not short of Prime's either.

    YouTube (Legacy):

As others have stated, it doesn't necessarily need fixing (leg locks). If you extend the legs and keep it extended for a day or two, you won't need to open it up. The reason behind is that "issue" is because of the environment (heat). I've not had to replace the knee locks on mine, and they've been stable.

Thanks for the information. Not having to do the fix would make a big difference.

I'll need to look at the copious pre-orders I have though and see if my budget will extend to it though.

Mine never needed fixing either. Decently solid right out of the box and perfect after standing extended for a few days.
