I started at the top of the page and worked my way down. I had already quoted that post before I read the other one... Lol

Wow. Last time I had an MMC fig pre-ordered there I cancelled because everyone else (except BBTS) got it in way before them.

I’ve been toying with cancelling a PO with one company and switching to Omegalock now they have stock in. I asked Omega a few days ago and if the stock they have come with the fix installed or whether the parts are provided for us to sort out ourselves.

    I got this reply:

It didn’t really help to clarify if the parts are provided or already installed. It would help to determine whether we would need to arrange with them or go direct with MMC. I’d have thought back to Omega. I did draw a blank with them when I bought Maketoys Downbeat which was missing stickers and I asked Omega to follow up with Maketoys and nothing got done.

Mine is finally in. Got the bad knees too, but technically extending the legs for a while should do the trick. About the figure itself tho, I am kinda whelmed. He looks pretty cool and fits well in my Japanese themed shelf, but the quality is far from what I am used to from MMC. Dare i say it, the plastic even feels a bit like a bad Knockoff. This figure could have needed a few more months in development and it shows. Might post some pics later.

I feel like if it weren't for the knee issues, and maybe the clearance issues on the forearm panel, there almost wouldn't be much anything to talk about with this release. It's certainly not bad, but it feels wholly unremarkable.

Initially after getting out of box, the knees do collapse but i find it not easy enough , must apply some force to make them collapse. But after leaving in robot mode for awhile the knee is harder to collapase. I havent done the spring replace

I had an email from PSX that they are sending me a knee fix kit - i haven't asked for it. Nice to see they are proactively owning this issue and putting things right.

No need to wait for replacement parts. I switched the upper and lower springs and now the leg slider is rock solid. With that problem out of the way, I finally got to have some fun with this guy.

I'll stand with my statement that he could have been much much better, he isn't bad at all tho! His feet could've used some die cast, but whatever keeps the price low works I guess.
Also not going to talk about the altmode.

He's also conveniently in scale with Botbots!

If you still consider getting one, what you see is what you get, solid figure which isn't too hard to fix but could have been better.

Looks like I will be that guinea pig for you @ghostfossil :p . Ordered via Omega yesterday evening. They are quick at shipping and as I’m in the same country I should be in receipt by tomorrow or Friday. Will let you know how I get on.

    @ghostfossil

I had a text/SMS message confirming delivery in either 10 mins from now up to an hour depending where the delivery driver is on his route.

Looking forward to this big chap despite the leg tabbing issue. First thing to do will be to extend the legs and let the springs settle. 2nd thing to do switch around as per @Victory Force post before. Did you switch the springs around straight away?

    Arrived a few minutes ago.

    C97F621B-2036-4CD7-91C3-AE5067350E5D.jpeg

Taken straight out of the box and extended legs. Left leg has the tab issue.

Also noticed some silver paint spill on the gun. Should be able to remove that.

    07BB2667-6F30-4C44-8FA0-6D0FA524AC29.jpeg

I am not a fan of the clam shell holders of figures and that the gun was just positioned down the side which would be able to rub against the figure whilst in transit. No immediate blemishes or marks on the main figure fortunately.

I was expecting it to be lighter given some feedback from those that had already received. Has some reasonable weight to it.

Will work on switching the springs around later.

No replacement parts provided with my order.

7 hours later having left the legs extended for that period I’ve noticed a vast difference to the left leg (which was problematic straight out of the box) and not collapsing with little pressure being applied. I forget who suggested this in the thread but many thanks. :thumb

No replacement springs provided with my figure but will consider carrying out @Victory Force fix by swapping the existing lower and upper leg springs to see if that further firms up in bot mode. In the two photos below I haven’t carried out the switch:
