Update:

The S.F. Express website actually has something more accurate than 17Track (shocking I know). Apparently she is eating hot dogs at Portillo's in Chicago waiting to clear customs. Then its two days with USPS till she is home.

OMG, mine says Chicago O'Hare too! And I did the cheaper shipping. I spent all week thinking it was on a boat already, slowly melting under the sun, on the open ocean...

There are no Shenzhen-Chicago flights, I think they skipped a tracking point or two. (my guess is the actual route is Shenzhen-Anchorage-Chicago, or it actually went out of Hong Kong)

 

I got word from PSE they are sending replacement parts to me after they suggested trying out some DIY of their remedies. Mostly just tightening or loosening then retighten. Didn’t really help so they are sending the parts.

Looks like it will be a race to see which of us get our Eris first since mine is the same tracking right now.

 

With the USPS it is a complete crapshoot. Once it is released from customs they have two days to deliver it. If they take different paths through customs they could be days apart. May the craftier Eris win.

So I got mine a couple days ago, enjoying it overall; hand feel is great (for the most part), tank mode is actually cool and doesn't feel like an afterthought and she can get into poses few of my other figures can:





I do have some quibbles however:

The hands; I appreciate that they're articulated but God they ae terrifying, they feel fragile; the index finger on my ones right hand is loose and the right hand also came disassembled during transformation (be careful when locking the front tread into place) and it was only by the grace of the Gods that I didn't loose one of her fingers. It would bring the price up but an extra pair of more basic ones with only a hinge at the knuckles would have been appreciated.

The waist ball joint on mine isn't loose per say but there's more give then I'd like, it sometimes feels like its struggling to support the heft of the upper body.

Its been mentioned before but I wish there was a way for the mid shin joint to lock in, especially with how simple the leg transformation is. They're nice and tight on mine; you can pose the ankles and most of the time the shin joints won't move, but I would be concerned if they loosen over time.

But aside from that great figure.

 

There are also upgrade kits for other vendor's Arcee figures that "amplify" certain characteristics of said figure. Nicee is more revealing than the main stream Arcee figures but I would not consider it vulgar. Some of the upgrades do trip into that territory; in particular the one for the Fans Toys figure.

 

I think the thighs could have been better if they were ratcheted. That would have allowed it to move for transformation, but essentially “locked” in place for bot mode

 

That is her. The mods have some kind of misogynist issue with the female form (even though all the "naughty" bits are clothed).
