family first is understandable. and the graphics on that page are out of this world!

 

Was pretty obvious the swords were gonna come into play, that's why I wanted to see the battle scene. Swords slicing into something that fights back is always cooler than swords slicing into the wall. Now if Shane decides that Cheetor isn't fast enough and the alloy ends him, well then I'll be sure to retract my statement. Climb Cheetor, climb!

I feel the need to point out this IS Shane we're talking about here. Px Who came up with the Megabolt+Chips since forever ago, and is a master at pulling twists out of nowhere.

Why?

Needless to say, I don't agree. There are times when the visuals tell the story very well, and dialogue only gets in the way. This was one of those times. Cheetor has seconds to react here; he's not going to be giving a running internal monologue as he runs and jumps and climbs like crazy to get out of the pit before he's fried. I think the images speak for themselves.  

 

I just think he should be thinking "Oh no....." or something at least.

Not all dramatic situations require speech. IMO he wouldn't have had time to yelp, he say the slag coming down at him so he ran for it. Spending time screaming can distract you and use up energy quicker.

 

Not only that, but he already had the equivalent of an "oh no" moment on the last page with his "oh Primus!" comment when he first saw the molten metal coming at him.

 

Exactly.

 

I concur. Talking would just slow him down. Those panels of him escaping say enough.
