Hey I really miss this thread! Sure's been a while since I posted here. I've been developing a Transformers original story to work as a live action TV series. I have a handful of ideas that I'll bring here, so this thread will now mostly be dedicated to storyline ideas and character designs! UPDATE: Honestly I haven't really come up with anything so far. Will return once I come up with a more solid base for the story. My apologies.

Generations N.E.O. (sometimes advertised as Neo-G1) is a series that consists of special edition redecoes and retools of Generations figures based on nominally non-G1 characters. The toys are packaged in nostalgic G1-style packaging similar to the Retro Headmaster with G1-style package art modified to resemble the characters in question. AOE Crosshairs (Deluxe Class, 2022) ID number: NG1-29 Crosshairs is an extensive redeco and minor retool of Kingdom Tracks that transforms into a Corvette in 21 steps. Among the changes to his deco from Tracks include his entire robot and car forms being redecoed to homage the sharpshooter from Transformers: Age of Extinction; even having his iconic side stripes in robot mode. He comes with an unchanged pair of SMGs from The Last Knight Deluxe Crosshairs. Oddly enough, his stock photo neglects to reflect this change.
Movie Brawl (Voyager Class, 2021) ID number: NG1-13 Accessories: Cannon, claw, gun A redeco of Earthrise Megatron that transforms into a tank. He includes a cannon and a claw which can mount on his forearms, the top of his tank mode, or be held in his hands - all accessories borrowed directly from the Studio Series figure of the character he's based on. The claw has a removable gun on it which can also be in any of the 5mm ports on the figure.
Barricade (Deluxe Class, 2021) ID number: NG1-17 A virtually unchanged rerelease of Barricade from the "Dominus Criminal Pursuit" 2-pack. He is a redeco of Smokescreen with Prowl's lightbar. Transforming into a car none-too-dissimilar from a Datsun, Barricade shares much of his transformation scheme engineering with his Siege mold, but uses completely new parts. Barricade comes with a single blaster and two shoulder cannon accessories.
^ this guy is basically easy filler. I've always admired his deco, but I heard he was rare and hard to get - so why not rerelease in my imaginary line? I took everything, bio and image, directly from the wiki with only a few changes.

This crosshairs is exactly what the new shellformers tracks reminded me of when I saw it announced. You did a great job on the alt mode and robot chest!
Here's a proof of concept of how this works: Essentially, they share the *exact* same box style as the G1 reissues. A rough standard would be Deluxes having boxes the size of Hot Rod's while Voyagers will have their boxes as big as Blaster's. However, they will also have the NEO logo as demonstrated above. Y'know the usual stuff - Autobots get the red "Heroic Autobot" logo while Decepticons get the purple "Evil Decepticon" logo. But Lockdown and Sideways, who are of neither side, get an original logo artstyle I created specifically for them. Characters based on Arcee, who never got a G1 toy, will have their artwork based on Blurr. This is laziness reference to the time she *almost* got one as a retool of him, only to be sacked yet again. Toys based on Beast Wars characters like Blackarachnia with no G1 artwork to base on can have their packaging artworks taken from their BW figures. I'm not just making digibashes. I'm pretty much creating a mock-up for an entire line with a line logo, waves, wiki-style bios, and all that - and you bet your ass I'm proud of how my mega-project's shaping up so far.
