According to my wife there is.
Looking forward to this Starscream. I’ll have to figure out how to do a before and after in my display.
Who says you have to buy them all? I don't. I usually buy the Thundercracker version of each mold since he was my first Transformer. I have never felt like it was necessary to get them all.
You are in so much trouble with that typo.
I cant wait to get a Thundercracker version of that Starscream mold. I have a growing TC collection that he will happily join.
Gloating about toys. Yeah, good job.
Is...please tell me that Titan is Scorponok. The arms on the headmaster has similar looking bits to Scorponok\'s antenna. It might be hopeful wishing but i can\'t think of any other Titans we havent gotten already.
Yeah, I’m with you on this. I don’t think seeing this Starscream has influenced how I feel about my Siege version either way to be honest. It’s not as if the Siege figure was my first version of the character anyway.
when i say "duped" i really mean that Hasbro cranked out 7 versions of a mold i consider sub-standard (over-greebled, off model alt-mode, entire alt-mode as a backpack, entire robot mode hanging off alt-mode undisguised ) at the voyager price point (that's $200 worth of seekers!!!) in a single year then immediately follow it ups with another voyager that i have to believe a plurality of fandom is going to find far, far more appealing. Seems a tad shady. i know, no one HAS to buy it, but did anyone see the Seige Starscream reveal and think they'd do a near-definitive (yes i agree he's gappy) update 15 months later?
if Siege had the actual Tetrajet alt mode instead of being a lame BSG Viper KO and had had proper looking Nullrays i'd have had much less of an issue with it.
Honestly, I am glad that I got the main seekers as tetrajets. This way, the coneheads stand out a bit more.
It's Titan Scorponok. The arms have similar bits to Scorponok's antenna and there's no other major Titan they haven't done yet.
If there is one seeker you favor then you don't, but for me, and some others it's about the team. Also some people are completionist.
I think they did the tetrajet mostly to go better with the cybertronian look of the other decepticons "leaders" (Shockwave, Megatron and Soundwave).
Also, I am hoping that this Starscream will be a "stand alone", and the main reuse of the mold will be the Coneheads, totally absent in Siege.
I really like how the Siege line is giving us some "MP accurate" figures at CHUG prices. I hope they continue to go this direction where they can. Grapple looks like this, as did the WFC Datsuns, and now 'Screamer.
The downside.....im not gonna be able to sell a number of figures from CW or POTP now
The rules of money spent and shelf space.
So Scorponok is confirmed! I'm actually quite excited about this, that out of all the Titans is most likely to have a good altmode. And with how good they made Omega's altmode, I'm feeling pretty good about it.
The Earth mode Starscream looks basically like an upsized Classics Deluxe Seeker. Which, I guess, is okay... it's just that I already have like 8 of those. :\
Starscream looks great, BUT I think I am happy with my Tetra Jets.
Yep, they Fort Maxified Scorponok so that his Headmaster and actual head for the scorpion mode are two separate pieces and make more logical sense. I just hope they make a Black Zarak version.
I\'ll probably still nab at least 1 tetrajet, but holy crap does that Starscream look beautiful! Earth Rise may have a pretty lackluster name, but my PRIMUS is it delivering on the figures! As far as the other guy, It doesn\'t look like Megazarak to me at all. That's 100% Scorponock. That cell shaded Prime is still looking great though. I need to buy him.
