Scorpinok? Welp, there goes my wallet. My son LOVES Scorpinok. I let him play with my studio series Scorpinok a little and he kept asking about other versions and I showed him Emgo’s review of the G1 version and he keeps asking to watch it. Christmas 2020 I guess.

HOLY CRAP - it's the voyager seeker mold i've been waiting for since '06.

i could even go back somewhere and find routes from myself, but the gist was always "i want the Classics design as a voyager with some of the niceties from the Masterpiece that a voyager scale would allow" which is pretty much exactly what this looks like. Just a shame the scale of Voyagers is so much smaller now, i wonder how much larger then the classics mold (which was on the small side for a deluxe) these will actually be.

they even finally got the null rays right.

i feel like anyone who got duped into buying all those faux-tetrajet backpackformer seekers gotta be so pissed.

so far Earthrise is making Seige look like a really weird filler line now.

Left work early to get home and watch this and just made it, only two reveals but they were both bloody good ones. Starscream looks ace and I'm very pleased to see Scorps getting his own Cerebros equivalent, he's gotta be the same size as Max if they're mirroring him like that. :D

    Some pics I got:

It's Scottish. The two concepts are indivisible to us.

For the looks of it it's not just up-scaled, but improved, I see more joints in the arms, the leg transformation seems to use the CW leg extension method. But I think the most important thing to look for is that "butterfly" shoulder joint.

I think for its time, articulation was fine. The only hindrance was the huge missle launchers. I am in for this starscream.

I would definitely buy such a set, but I would definitely prefer that the Welcoming Committee be produced using the Tetrajet tooling since that would be more accurate.

Nah, I quite like the tetra mold but I suspect Starscream will just be a 1 of in terms of the 3 traditional seekers and that this specific mold was made with the coneheads in mind

yanno, these panels would be more exciting if hasbro would quit leaking out stuff with ign articles in the days before. just imagine how hyped this panel could have been if we had seen Ironworks here for the first time.

I mean, not really? There's a kind of collector out there that I like to call "reasonable." In that we understand limitations of a retail product and how things have to fit into budgets and stuff, and I'm okay with design elements like the Siege Seekers because of the realities of the situation. I still think the Siege Seekers look great. Am I getting the Earth mode ones? Most likely yes, but that doesn't mean I don't love my Tetrajets either.

I got all of them and I’m perfectly happy, I like the bot mode proportions of the Siege Seekers more than the new one. Still gonna get the new one though.
