Now the hard part..waiting for this line to be released.  

 

I am loving everything from this line. It\'s a really nice touch that they managed to give Soundawve his lampost mode and Shockwave his gun/submarine mode. I\'m willing to bet that Soundwave can also easily become is tapedeck mode whether officially or unoficially. I still think think they shoudl\'ve stuck with the comunications van for his alt mode but the ship mode by no means hurts the figure for me. Frankly the more I look at it the more it looks like something from Star Wars, heck it looks a lot like Moloch\'s landspeeder from the first part of the Solo movie. They did an excellent job with Laserbeak and Ravage. The only question is, will one or both come with Soundwave or are they sold seperately as one of the patrol packs? I\'ll get them either way. The more I look at Starscream\'s tetrajet mode the more I love it despite the undercarriage kibble. The weathering effects really pop on the gey plastic, it\'s too bad there isn\'t as much of it on Starscream\'s bot mode. I love the dark purple used for Shockwave(assuming that\'s the final look and not a prototype), it has an excellent sheen to it! I totally dig his super mode with 2 extra arms, I can already see emgo316\'s end of review skit for him...

 

Agreed (aside from MP-36)

 

Disappointed about the lack of individual bot modes for the Flywheels components...that's a big WTF there.


Other than that and the weathering on the figures, it looks like it'll be a solid line.

 

Shockwave is beyond perfection now that I know that he will turn into a lasergun beside the extra cruiser altmode.
All the others are just perfect and I will have 'em all.

 

I cannot wait to see SPRINGER!

 

These look okay, will probably buy the line, but we need 3rd party intervention. Hopefully a 3rd party company will produce mp scaled versions of this line, or a high end ko company look or IT improves the line.

 

Without of doubt. Soundwave is best looking figure.

 

Pros:
+G1 greatness
+Good robot modes
+Decent altmodes
+They made Reflector and Flywheels!

Cons:
-Weathering
-Won't be getting Takara Tomy variants
-Not on my self yet

 

Wow, really Hasbro lays out a fabulous spread and the first thing that comes to mind is you want 3rd parties to eat their lunch. Have some class.

 

So is Ravage just going to be an accessory for Hound from now on?  

 

Having you guns on your shoulders is stupid and impractical, and it was stupid and impractical even in the 80s. It's stupid, and we should do away with it. Animated Starscream had his weapons attached to the forearms. Prime Starcream had the weapons attached to his forearms. RiD Starscream had the weapons attached to his forearms. And even Cyberverse Starscream has the null rays on his forearms. It's the far more convenient placement of weapons, easier to shoot.

Just because this line is yet another Geewun pandering line, doesn't mean it can't adapt things from other iterations of transformers. It would aid Soundwave a lot to have his armored vehicle mode from RiD. Or stealth drone mode from Prime.

 

Okay, here is my bits on brain.

Megatron - is cool, but the TR one us still my favorite.

Soundwave - cool, but I'm happy with my nurid deluxe for now. Love lamp post mode.

Shockwave - bought. Very, very bought.

Skytread - disappointed he only has one robot mode, and looks like he loses waist articulation, but I'll still grab him.

Brunt - regrets of getting Trypticon without full tilt begin....

Starscream - not a fan if the tetrajets. Looks good, considering.

Others - not getting the micromasters, but getting all the battle Masters.

 

Where are the studio series reveals besides Drift and the baby dinobots?

 

I was promised Air Strike Patrol.  So... Where are they??? Pls ty
