I have the CW (actually Legends) Megatron, he was my MP stand-in... but I honestly don't know what to do with him. He is out of scale with every single one of my display themes.

 

This is a nitpick, but I'm pointing it out because it bugs me. What is the deal with that little ridge on the outside of the wrist?


It looks like it prevents the hand from folding out into a straight forward position, so his hands are forced to bend inwards, slightly. It's nothing I can't fix with a knife but....why?

 

To make it easier to pull the hand out of the arm.

Exactly what I was gonna say. That looks like it's meant to lock back into place for stability, and someone got scared when it didn't just slip into place and stopped pushing.

 

Shockwave seems a bit short even with shoes on. I guess Soundwave, Starscream and native Shockwave will be the same height which will be a bit shorter than Megatron.

 

Well, you could mix and match the components on the G1 figures, so I think it's a nifty throwback.

mmm, I think for Optimus Prime CHUG-Voyager scale figure there is many more better options, in G1, WFC, FOC and other styles (like Striker Manus).

 

Except G1 isn't "Chug" and WFC & FoC aren't Voyagers.

 

I refer to the scale in general in a compatible line with all of them, in fact, there is G1 Optimus Prime in almost every series scale.

 

Good question. If I may further clarify, "doing the hobby wrong" not for the sake of the hobby, but for the sake of their own expenses. Plainly put, I spend less because I am easy to please, which allows me to enjoy the hobby without it greatly impacting my finances. Again, to each their own.
