maybe if they were going to make the OG reflector, because the toy version has Magnificus head....or maybe not quite

    These look great, but...

    1) Price hikes ==> your TF dollars buy you less than ever before!

    2) Piss-poor distribution! (Unless you're a rabid 1-step collector! :D )

I'm not keen on ordering directly from a warehouse (as has become the norm for this hobby). It's burning me out, Hasbro.

All of this nostalgia, but none of the magic of buying from your local store! :thumb  (It's truly a shame I can't contribute to the local economy with my purchases). Hasbro needs to figure out the distribution problem before this line becomes, officially, online exclusive. :rolleyes2

In my area, the restock time lapse for PotP deluxe wave 2 was FIVE MONTHS (assuming they appeared briefly when I found them out-of-State in March - the toys appeared en-masse in August). The current B&M retail situation is 1 wave for approximately 5-6 months (Nov - Apr/May/Jun), followed by a rush through the remaining waves (Jun - Nov), as the next line threatens to overshadow the current with another dose of Wave 1 poison!

With Voyagers it's a tie between all 3 Con's coming up in the next 2 waves. But in another thread, they were hoping for Takara making clean version's w/o the weathering, which would be great but with Hasbro C-blocking them from doing their own thing and likely planing on some "Platinum Edition's of the hold line like 3 years from now I wouldn't count on it.

Wait, did those Refractor's or FlyWheels have any major "Weathering"?

Neither do I. Unless it’s to give us all relief that Siege Megatron doesn’t look anything like that horrible IDW artwork.

If you think Milne's art is horrible, than your bar for "good" must be impossibly high.

The Megs headsculpt has improved with each line. Lots of praise to HasTak for their work on Megs starting from CW onwards.

I hope folks have gotten PotP Prime too cause even though I love Siege Prine, I think that figure is gonna be highly sought after.

I also think folks are being overly harsh with HasTak for taking so long to update Reflector. He’s B-list on G1 standards (just cause of his season 1 prominence) but really D-list in the overall TF pantheon- HasTak still needs commercially viable characters and alt-modes when picking who to produce. I’m ecstatic with the results though and the sheer surprise factor too. :)

It's just the expression on Megs face.

    ....that said
How could you find the art horrible? What do you consider good art? Very curious that's the best art I've ever seen.

The art is good - I'm just not a big fan of the design style.

Fortunately, the actual toy has a style of its own, and as I hoped for ; this Megatron turned out to be one, with chunky wide proportions.

This Megs looks solid and delightfully chunky. I don't need a Megatron, but I'd be interested in a remold/repaint.

Well I'm glad we agree on Voyager Megatron, this is something the kid me wanted.

Back then if you missed Gun Megatron, which I did, that was it. It wasn't till G2 that we got another Megs, but G2 Meg's was never a replacement for Megatron.

my educated guess is that reflector has never been so chubby bubbly fat to the point to look disproportionate.
    but to each their own.

Wfc is a trilogy so she can come later
With bumblebee. These 2 are getting spotlight now with cyberverse and movie (for bb).

Oh and no one tried to answer my question: did anyone ask if wfc soundwave can fit old tape? After all it would be fun feature, especially with the use of Dino cassettes in bumblebee exclusives

Siege Megatron is almost exactly what I wanted too (barring any nasty in-hand surprises). CW was excellent , but bigger than I like and the shoulder joints were kinda weird. TR was decent, but a little bit too 'Blitzwing' and way too much Headmaster. This one looks like a good size, a good look in either mode without obvious surprises, and I can deal with the grunge. My only issue is that all the flat gray is a bit overwhelming, and could use a bit more black and/or red, especially around the midriff area, to break it up.

A Redeco like Tarn would be PERFECT!
Possibly even Straxus/Darkmount to since they dropped the ball with using TR Galvatron's mold (minus to silly flip out mask) for him.

Who did you have in mind?

I've been asking the same thing. Even better if MP cassettes can fit since I'm not likely to replace my MP Lazerbeak and Ravage who can fit in my Classic's G1 Soundwave, who I do want to replace with the SIEGE version.

John Warden was asked a lot of question in the videos showing the Con's diorama. You'd think that at lease one person there would've asked him about that but you could hardly hear what he or the interview's were saying in most of those videos.
