I may have to finally purge my old classics. These guys are the transformers I always wanted (with ugly paint). And Hasbro's bending over backward to make them do everything as right as possible (with ugly paints).

 

So. We’ve got Scamper and Fulltilt, with Sixgun, Cog, and Brunt on the way.

Brunt could be an easy redeco/retool as Slammer.

That’d just leave Fasttrack for all the base sidekicks.

 

I dunno how I feel about Megatron. His proportions look...I dunno, wide? Something about his torso and head is bothering me.

Too bad Flywheels doesn't get individual robots modes like POTP Battletraps. Though I find it amusing he has no weathering like the rest of the line.

 

I feel the same way, so I'll have my bottle of acetone ready.

 

Transformation instructions for Megatron: "Lay figure on its back. Fold feet flat. K! Donez!"

 

Flywheels!! Ravage!! I was pretty sure there was going to be a Ravage but ya never know.

I wonder if Brunt can be used with Trypticon in battlestation mode.

Props to that Megs face sculpt. Different take from other things but very familiar.

Agreed on all accounts.
Megatron does look a bit bloated to me. I think I'll stick to my TR. The fanmode I give him looks more Cybertronian than this even.

 

So are the cassettes included with Soundwave or are they Battle Masters?

I just realized that we'll be able to combine the weaponizer dudes together. This line is gonna have Diaclone levels of playability.

 

Anyone know if we are going to get more reveals.

 

It's probably verboten to say so, but there's serious Masterpiece vibes from these main line figures. Not just in the G1iness of the sculpts either.

Something's weird here. All these figures feel either tiny or bloated.

 

The Seekers and Shockwave suck, Soundwave 'a eyes are yellow not red. But Megatron doesn't look bad, only his gun is too small.

 

That Megatron head? That Shockwave alt-mode that can split into the laser pistol? Flywheels? Sweet.

Man, this is shaping up to be a great 35 year anniversary. Wonder if MP is close to more reveals as well...
