It finally took official images but I actually like Broadside now.

And Perceptor is perfect!

I don't care what others say about him but Getaway is a major improvement over the very boring Chromedome.

Now I want those rumors to be real and we end up getting Misfire & Slugslinger to go with Triggerhappy.

I just hope it isn't as hard to get these guys as it is getting Wave 2 deluxes.

I think Broadside'a headmaster basically confirms Tidal Wave now. It looks like Tidal Wave's Mini-Con, Ramjet.

Why is BlackShadow\'s jet riding his tank? What\'s going on?

 

I think it's just the Alpha Trion Titanmaster, actually.

 

It is. All the remolds have the same Titanmasters just with different heads in the back. You can see it with Chromedome/Breakaway, Astrotrain/Sentinel and Blurr/Brainstorm.

 

Wow. Broadside really shares parts with Alpha Trion.

I could totally see a mix of parts for both used to make Vector Prime.

 

There is so much here to like, and it\'s all a lot of fun...but why does it look like Broadside\'s titan master is sitting down to use the bridge of the carrier as a...ahem...poop deck?

 

This is some next level retooling right here. I love it.

 

It's just a reuse of the Titan Master from Alpha Trion, who in turn is based on the Cybertron Safeguard Mini-Con that came with Alpha Trion.

im sure if they straightened broadside\'s legs in jet mode, it would look like a proper jet, and primus knows how much hasbro \"dislikes\" transforming the toys properly(or in this case 3d models), he does share some core elements with alpha trion, but most parts have been so heavy redesigned it doesnt look like it, at least they didnt just repainted alpha trion as broadside XD, that would have been...weird...wolf i mean, lion

 

So who do we have incoming now?

Skyshadow seems bound to become an Overlord mold based on the transformation.

G2 Optimus is almost definitely becoming Octane.

Triple Changer Megs is a shoo-in for Blitzwing.

Some speculation about Tidal Wave from Broadside??

The Transmissions Leaks say Broadside definitely. In fact they knew about it first, and said it would get remolded into Broadside.

They also said we would get G1 Quake from Hardhead. They said the Legends Bumblebee would be redone as Throttlebot Chase. Leader Sixshot will be remolded into Quickswitch.

There are some original molds coming too according to Transmissions, like Kup and Nautica.

I'm personally guessing that Alpha Trion and Broadside might give us Vector Prime.

 

almost forgot, you know whay i hate about this line? though i love minifigs and all, i hate that every single one requires PARTSFORMING for the head, the original headmasters im ok with that and maybe some pretenders and some like overlord and gateaway since they literally required the minifigs to unlock the transformation, but rodimus, perceptor, and some others DO NO need to be headmasters, i dont know about rodimus, but im sure perceptor cant be modified to remove the gimmick,  as there is no place to \"store\" his head, as it would be permanently visible in microscope mode, rodimus maybe there is a way like there was with blurr or something, and most of the voyagers because the flip out gimmick that i have seen modified to instead store the head itself
while overall figures are better than cw, it is still cw all over again

 

Ooh, didn't realize Black Shadow had such a clumsy combined jet/tank thing, which if I'm not mistaken, the tank forms the legs on the robot mode.

That may be a dealbreaker. It's expected and perfect on Overlord (and seeing the dual cockpits makes me certain we're getting two Titanmasters with him), but for Black Shadow, not so much. Outside of being on the small side, I don't have a problem with the Deluxe anyway.

 

Triggerhappy looks great - bring on Slugslinger, Hasbro PTB!
