This isnt a review though. we don't see transformation, we don't even see articulation, or anything about how the figures work. this is a "LOOK WHAT I GOT" video, if anything.

Seriously, JTMitchel87 deserves frontpage and the news credit, not OP. I got more out of the pictures that were posted a while back than this video.

I don't mean to be coming down on OP, but other people have done more and better within the same time frame with their only sin being that they did not shout "FIRST!"

I don't get why people are bitching about the transformation not being shown.

Shrug. He DID review the figures and had his video posted before me. It's not exactly a law that you NEED to show transformations in a review. Some people do, some don't.

Thanks for the code, OP. I didn't even know one was given out. :)

Yep. Toy reviews are serious business.

The guy even offered to pick some up for board members. Thanks Soundwave9.

Combination of no transformation shown, and not being shown anything about articulation, or how the toys work.

Would be fine if these repaints were released after the normal toys, but with these being the first versions of these toys available, yes, we want to know how they work, and what they can do.

Thanks guys. It was nice to see my review on the front page but I never asked or expected it to be up there. I wanted to share the 10% HTS coupon code "NYCC2011" and give people a look at the figures and packaging before ordering online. I'll leave the detailed reviews to the experienced reviewers with higher production values.

Wow lot of people bitching about how he reviewed it. Be glad he took his time to even do a video review on these at all. Anyways after watching that review I defiantly want this set so I hope they end up having some to sell on HTS. I really can not wait until we finally get the Prime toys in December. So excited. Thanks for the review Soundwave9.

Huge pass. Everyone keeps trying to say that the Prime designs aren't just more Bayverse crap, but every time I see Prime and Bumblebee especially, that's the first thing I think of. It's frustrating that instead of two different lines, we've really just got Movie and Movie-lite.

I'm happy JTMitchel did a review and indifferent to OP's review, except it cost a better reviewer attention and possibly money. I'm sure most people don't know this, but for people who have put work into making their channels powerful with many views and subscribers, each video they make can be worth a fair amount of money.

By my estimation based my experience with AdSense and what I know about the YouTube Partner program, for people like Peaugh and Optibotimus, each video can pull in between $25 to $70 per 10,000 views, which allows them to buy early figures for our enjoyment.

So, no, I'm not particularly happy about how this turned out. OP doesn't have the quality or work put into his channel to benefit from this and the review did nothing to inform, so it's not even a first step for him, which I would have been fine with.

I'm not saying anyone did anything wrong, just that from my perspective, nothing good happened for anyone and it was a waste.
