The more I hear, the more excited I get about this line. Holding out hope but I'm looking forward to seeing an eventual deluxe Nightbeat and Snapdragon! That Generations Nightbeat just wasn't up to par, in my opinion.

With the focus on the '89 movie, we really should be getting a new Rodimus Prime voyager mold to go with the new Galvatron voyager mold. But then, everybody expected that for the classic dinobots at the time of AoE, and the best we got was old remolds in a different Platinum set.

I know Galvatron is pretty lame, but the titanium Rodimus mold is pretty good or at least I think so.

That's a really odd way of doing things. 2 heads for the same fig just seems redundant, even if they're designed a little differently from each other.

I would rather have seen the $5 TMs be new characters and designs that serve as extra optional heads, or the heads of G1 Headmasters that don't have a realistic chance of getting a full fig.

Well that's lame but at this point, that's par for the course for hasbro.

Ha! you expected an actual headmaster to get his transtector in the headmaster orientated line? no! have several movie/g1 characters who have never been headmasters at all!

    Sure buddy, sure.

They are basically selling replacements for lost heads for $5 each. Great sales strategy!

    So don't lose heads.

It's been 20 years and I've still got all my BW missles.

Sorry, I'm very skeptical at the idea that all the Titanmasters are also getting Deluxe figures. Nice if true, but I'm definitely not holding my breath.

The Platinum release of Rodimus and Galvatron being the awful Titanium and awful Universe molds when the initial rumor was G1 re-releases is... Devastating. Sweeps box set is cool, I guess. We've had two animation accurate Cyclonus redecoes plus a "reformatting" clear version already though, so I'm hoping for this Cyclonus they go for comic accurate or something unique.

Of course we are already getting a new fantastic Galvatron, we are getting the awesome UW Cyclonus and we have the pretty cool CW version already and a brand new Headmaster Scourge is on the way so this all seems a bit pointless.

Yea where did this rumor even come from? Wishful thinking?

I don't know if the designers panel mentioned this but I had the idea that these titanmasters were just a way to give some recognition to minor characters that couldn't get a full figure. Can't hurt to have some extra head options, too.

I'd be very happy to be proven wrong this time, however.

    Hahahahahaha!

That sounds absolutely horrible. They'd have to retool both of them to salvage it.

Yeah, that's gotta be the worst Platinum set by far. Shit, if they really wanted to do a set worth a damn, then Energon Rodimus and voyager Galvatron in G1 decos. There ya go.

just because there are alot more people out there with more knowledge and connections than you doesnt mean that its not true. Im not the only one that saw the pics as there were dozens of people on the dealer room floor that had the chance to see them. It wasnt a Hasbro show but somebody with actual pics that have yet to be published from the leaks. there a ton more pics that were leaked out but were not published and probably wont be either, wait til the show next month to see some more reveals.

Hey now! Some of us liked Apeface and crew in the original Marvel Comics too, since the show didn't give many of them any life

Like many things in life... :)
