Minor/Repaint: Nucleon Quest Convoy

    First off, I gotta give credit to F_R, his version of this character was what made me want this mold in the first place. Ever since I saw that, I had to have this armor set, and even more so once the Shadow Warrior figures were released. After a bit of research, I decided I'd make it look as close to the original as I could get it.

    So, back in February I took this guy off the shelf and tore it all apart. I sanded and prepped every possible inch of the FP parts, as well as Prime and the SW figures. After a quick shot of self-etching primer, I coated everything in HoK flat black. All of the parts that were to remain black (a good majority of them) were drybrushed lightly with my custom gunmetal mix, just to make it look a bit worn. Then a drybrush of silver chrome was applied to a few parts for a bit of contrast. Then some more custom mixed MM enamels were hand brushed or airbrushed, a few decals from Boggs6ft7, and a final coat of Dullcote to seal it up.

    And then it sat in my curing drawers for about the last 6 months, believe it or not. I started my shop remodel and totally forgot about this project, as the drawers were covered by a cardboard box that I finally moved about a week ago. Kinda like when you find a $20 bill in a pair of shorts you haven't worn in months, this guy was in there along with a few others that still need to be finished.

    Ah ah!! Nucleon Quest Warriors' bro-fist on the 3rd picture!! :D  Anyway, why don't you add the Shadow pack to the whole set (maybe repainted as Nucleon Pack)? It will be easier to mount the 2 warriors on in vehicle mode, and the BFG in super robot mode ;)

    Not nemesis, not deception, just Plain ole Optimus with a special armor coating to harvest nucleon from a black hole. :)
