It tabs into the grooves on the combiner block - same method used for the chest plate of Perceptor. In theory I can use this to tab anything onto the chest of CW figures but I don't have a good design of the breast animals yet. Thanks, that episode is memorable for many good reason, one being the combaticons appeared out of nowhere, even before they were created. To your question, the head and shoulders (heh) and the jet nozzles on the wrists are sold separately

I think that the arms dealer in that episode appeared in the illustration on the back of the Takara Tomy instruction manual for Bruticus. The Combaticons are depicted as hanging out at Swindle's secret arms shop.
