I could also leave my windows open, doors unlocked, and social security card on the dining room table Don't worry, I'll move it, it's just a matter of whether I have to wait until October or not. I just like talking about distribution being a false flag sometimes.
Lol... It would be a 5 dollar loss. Maybe 7 if you feel your trade accounted for the price with sales tax.
$20 with free shipping is at least a $14 loss. $25 purchase + $1.50 tax + $7.20 shipping (within my postal zone) = $34 $20 is also straight up cash. You'd actually only get $19.40 over PayPal or $17.20 if eBay was involved. Like I said, not so easy. I have alot of CW Grooves and T30 Nightbeats left over too. I don't know if they made way more Grooves than Slingshot and Wildrider, people lost interest in combiners by the time he was released, or the motorcyle-is-out-of-scale-and-therefore-bad camp won the war. I wonder what direction the Amazon-exclusive Blastoff will go.
Lucky. I went out looking for them but all my stores are just what's left of wave one that haven't sold (Mostly Starscreams and Dreadwinds), however I did snag a Wreck-Gar at E.B Games so I was happy about that.
So basically youre a scalper? Somebody who got a hun-grr on a trade wouldnt be worried about what its worth market value.
I missed out on Sdcc Primal today and need a purchase to cheer myself up. Anyone got a Novastar they're willing to sell for retail+shipping?
Can we end this conversation? It’s not going anywhere and not about NovaStar. He has Hun-Gurr, you want to buy it for $20. He is a trader, willing to trade for something worth approx $34. There will be no deal here, sorry, end of story. Please let’s move on. *All appologies if that was blunt or offensive to either of you, I do not wish to offend anyone!* Please back to NovaStar- 1.) Has their been anymore sightings besides the initial 2 or 3 we heard of? 2.) Confirmation if she will be made available on HTS or Amazon 3.) Will TfSource, BBTS etc... be getting her for the $17.99
I'm hoping BBTS has her as a single release, BUT they may end up just offering her as a 4-pack with 1 each of her fellow wavemate repacks X.X Just my speculation, so take it with a large grain of salt. Edit: they are also bound by the "Walmart law": "online stores aren't allowed to offer pre-orders of products until the Walmart street date" BTW, does anyone know the actual POTP "Wave 4" street date?
2.) She has a listing on Amazon, so she will appear eventually, although no bets on whether she ever appears for something near MSRP https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product...beb-4819111bef9a&pf_rd_r=06TCQJWCFVJAEJ6S5GM1 3.) If I were BBTS, I wouldn't sell her at MSRP. That case assortment is moronic (It's something like Sludge, Rippersnapper and Blackwing - it's certainly [Dinobot], [Terrorcon], [Powermaster]).
Probably shouldn't make assumptions if you don't know the guy. He's a retailer, with a wholesale account. This was a one-off thing, that moved some older stock and should've been a quick turnaround for the newer (Hungrr) item. Which was a considerably hard item to find up until about 3 weeks ago, generally speaking.
Always check eBay. Look for the seller's location, it'll give you a better picture as to where and when these are popping up. Seems to be Mid-Atlantic and West Coast. Last night I saw one from Morgantown, WV.
Good call! I'm usually pretty well-versed into sniffing out info, and I didn't even think about that.
Hasbro corporate meeting: "so how are we going to distribute POTP?" "let's super-oversaturate wave 1, make wave 2 nonexistent except for a small window, and then leapfrog over wave 3 with wave 4 by September to fill out the year until Siege in November/December"
Because what I traded for it was free, right? Scalpers are just a boogeyman. They can't exist in a market where toys cost $17 at Walmart and people only want to pay $12 with free shipping. I used to think local stores were barren because they were stupid but it's really that they can't compete with Santa Claus. I mean this is the reason lots of fans stop helping other people. You go out of your way to sell something at cost and it's thrown back in your face because shipping costs money. It's really too bad that Takara is probably going to deliver Firestar at the end of October. I could've sold the extras off at RetroCon no problem. Now they're just going to sit until I decide to destroy them. Oh well, it's not like $50 will break me.
