I did try searching first, but couldn't find an answer. Do all versions of the Ubiquitous UB-01 diorama set include the LED lighting kit? BBTS has it for sale right now, but it doesn't seem to mention lights in the desription or parts list. The Ubiquitous UB-01 Diorama Set (bigbadtoystore.com) Researching elsewhere online I can't find one that doesn't have the light kit, so I was curious if anyone knew. I sent an ask to BBTS already but haven't heard back and it's been a couple days.
i think the reason you’re not finding anything is… i don’t think this is necessarily tf-related. doing some searching, i think the version with lighting is UB1LS. the below review is of UB1LS and he notes he had 3 sets of instructions, only one was for the lighted version he had. I searched both the forums here and google and reddit and Nova's instagram and such. I don't have an instagram or twitter account so couldn't do deep dives. thanks for the info. It does appear there's at least 2 versions, UB01 and UP01LS with the lighting kit. I can't seem to find the lighting kit by itself. As scarce as they seem to be, I think I'll get the BBTS one and light it myself. Thanks for the help!
Neither the product description nor any of the images with the text blurbs mention about about lighting so I would assume no lighting is included.
I'm in the same boat as you just now realizing this came out YEARS ago and there doesn't seem to be a ton of info about the basic kit. The UB-01LS kit is the only one with the USB lighting hub, wiring kit, and lights from everything I have seen. It looks like the translucent pieces and natural wire channels for the lights are just part of the basic build, so if you can find LEDs and cabling that fit you could figure out a way light it yourself. If you nab the kit let me know what's in there and any potential LED tricks you find. I'll do likewise.

This is awesome looks like we generated enough interest to revive this product. I will be ordering two kit as well to expand my current set up. Feel free to share ideas or add on accessories for this set .
So mine just arrived from bbts and I can confirm that it does not come with the LED kit. The outer sleeve has a little window which shows Ub-01 Standard - on the other side of the box there's another spot that says UB-01LS LED light studio so, presumably they would've put the window in the sleeve on that side of it were that version. Also I opened the box and there aren't any lighting parts in there
Very nice. So 1 light kit to 1 regular seems to work out. One thing I haven't been able to track down. How big is one of the square units measurement wise? This thing makes immaculate doorways and halls, I just need to figure out how big I can push it. The standard config seems to be about 12.5 inches wide/tall.
