i was reading of tf wiki about Nova Prime from idw's comics and i remember seeing a figure that was in the works from mastermind creations i think? anyone know what ever happened to that figure being made? it looked awesome

Came out loooooooong ago and is loooooooong sold out. Shame too, it was an incredible looking figure.

 

I think they never finished the initial batch, they had to send refunds or something.

 

As far as I know I think only 10 were made or something ridculous like that.

 

I think the story was that the manufacturer did a runner with the money, and the person or people behind Master Collectables were issuing refunds out of their own pocket (???)

 

That's what I mean, I don't think they ever finished the initial batch of 10 (that was available for preorder).

 

damn so that means no one has one then? cause honestly i think it could have been one of the best third party figure made based on the protype pictures. How much was it suppose to cost?

 

Yeah, it looked amazing. I was honestly almost one of the people who got one of those 10. Glad I missed out in hindsight. Hang on though, I think if you're wanting a nice Nova/Nemesis Prime figure you'll be satisfied soonish.

 

Weren't the first ones selling for something like $500-600?

DAMN Straight Josh! I'm with you bro! I would literally duck punch someone for a decent Nova Prime. NP is #1 on the wish list. Even over Menasor.

Wow, this thing looks so amazing that I wish that I didn't even know it existed  . I greatly look forward to seeing any new 3P rendentions of Nova Prime and it would be an instant buy if it was remotely close to this awesome.

Yeah, pretty sure if any 3P company puts out a Nova Prime figure, it won't look nearly as good. (Or it'll just be I won't be satisfied.)

 

Id be confident in MMC doing Nova Prime seeing what they have done for HoS seekers and the upcoming Hexatron. Not that someone like Fansproject couldnt do it, I just think MMC style lends itself well to Nova.
