Castaway is also a bad offender of this. It shows the entire movie. It even spoils that Tom Hanks makes it off the island and has to decide what to do now that his wife is with someone else. It even shows the final shot of the movie.
What You Never Knew About The Ninja Turtles - Nostalgia Critic | Maker.tv Day early videos for Maker.TV now it seems.
Some good bits in that one. I loved this bit: "Good job kid you'll go places. (Next number comes up) This kid went places. He's Sam Rockwell.."
I knew it was a matter of time till this happens Nostalgia Critic Does Ice Bucket Challenge - YouTube
Ha. Cool as Ice. Funny. Also, I pray to god that Tommy Wiseau actually does do it in an over the top and hilariously hammy and stupid fashion.
I remember really liking the first film when I saw it in theaters (and a couple more times on DVD), but when they announced a sequel, I was like "Nah, that's okay" and never saw it. I see I made a good choice.
Am I the only one who thinks Tamara is a better actress than Rachel? Not that Rachel wasn't funny but I find Tamara as the crazy fangirl just funnier. It helps that her character is recurring and not a one shot and we forget about her the next review. Malcom is still gold.
I like Tamara more, she seems like she was actually hired for being funnier than just being eye candy.
If there's one thing that's really bothering me about what the critic is doing lately it's that he seems to be attacking people who enjoy films like the TF movies or on the same likes as them not to mention making the fans that are featured in the new reviews like the hyper fangirl in the Princess Dairies 2 review look like idiots because of it. Like how he preached to the hyper fan girl in the last review about not being a better person and not wanting better movies just because she likes the TF movies which honestly felt not only insulting but it makes the critic look like a total A-hole who's just attacking people just because they like something he doesn't. It's like he's trying to make people who love the TF movies despite knowing that they're flawed feel bad for even liking them. It's like he's not aware of even ignoring the fact that there can be fans of his who do enjoy or love the TF movies and that he's risking alienating some of them because of it. Maybe that's just Doug being in character but either way there's a difference between pointing flaws in a movie and then there's being a patronizing, egotisical a-hole snob who looks down upon people who likes movies that he considers garbage and I'm sorry but he's looking to be doing the latter and that's what's bothering me. People who loves TF movies shouldn't have to feel bad for liking them.
Because he's an asshole. God, what happened to the Nostalgia Critic? He use to be great, now he's just isn't funny anymore. Those Demo Reel morons don't make things any better.
Nostalgia Critic has just turned to shit. He's not funny, he's an asshole about eveyrthing, his "comedy" is just assuming people agree with him and then screamign a whole lot, and even when he manages to make a point I agree with, he makes me wish I didn't because of how seriously unlikable and idiotic he is. He's talentless and annoying, and I consistently forget he exists until this thread gets bumped. It's sad when the other people he forces into his reviews are funnier than he is, and they're still not that funny. The new girl is, most of the time, but Rachael and Malcom always sucked. They lack any sort of comedic timing, wit or character.
Yeah, that kind of bothered me too. I think from the Pearl Harbor review, the long rant he did for Transformers 4, then followed by an actual review of the movie, THEN his review on TMNT, the obvious fact that he hates Michael Bay has been driven into the ground.
