As a N.C. State alum, this brings a tear to my eye. Coolest thing to come to NC in a while and they arrest it... "A student at North Carolina State University has been arrested and charged with larceny for swiping some of those bright orange construction barrels from the road and creating what has been dubbed the "Barrel Monster".
At least he didn't get Grand larceny or a Felony for it. He will probably get a minimal sentence or just be forced to pay for the materials. You can't steal things and expect to get off with nothing... Sounds like he got a very light charge and they are not out to destroy him.
right exactly the man was a theif and when you steal you should be arrested and punished and that is why the police always enforce the laws consistently and never exercise situational judgement! I mean what if him stealing those barrels meant there was a hole that someone was killed through that would be the same as murder! Hes lucky wasn't even charged with attempted murder!

I live in NC and that would have made my day if I had seen it. I mean, there is a hulluva lot of construction in our state. I don't see it as larceny, I see it as a public service or a protest to the government for ALL OF THE DERN CONSTRUCTION ON THE ROADS EVERYWHERE I DRIVE!!!! Sir, where ever you are, I salute you.
