Agreed. He has been pretty specific that his parts are injection molded from the beginning. That is why he really stood out as a small operation.

I'll be curious if anyone tries to set up with the mix process of 3D printing resin molds to use for injection molding. The price is coming down and the material improvements make it more viable.

Yes! The blade rotates independent of the guard. Got orange/red. Very excited.

Just got one of each sword as I'm happy with the head and horns on Slag as is. Just as with his Grimlock sword, I’ll swap the parts to make a orange sword with red hilt for ss86 Slag and a red sword with black hilt that will be given to any future g2 slag repaint!

I’m intrigued by the alt head. I would love to see more pictures of it when someone gets it.

FYI. The parts are listed separately. I noticed that when I clicked on the Twitter link

Got my Slag kit in today and it makes all the difference! The dinobots are one group where I prefer toy accuracy for the figures themselves (red chested swoop, black head and red horns for Slag) so this kit makes all the difference. Also like that the sword guard rotates freely from the blade so that the blade can be held in the correct orientation

Did the head just come off the peg?

I dont even consider this cartoon accurate so, im going with the black head.

I definitely prefer the black head. Wasn't planning to get this figure but maybe now...

The spinning sword guard is the absolute best part of this kit.
