I wonder if that Sunstreaker kit works with transforming it or has some kind of appropriate storage adapter in robot mode?

 

Hmmm, the spoiler kit looks interesting. I like that there's the option of it sitting higher like the original toy, though for someone like me who wouldn't want it to partsform, it'll probably look better on the arms in the lower configuration. Definitely waiting until the chrome option is available, I just wonder if I'm gonna get one or three!?

 

SS spoiler sets are up. Been waiting to put an order in for a bunch of stuff and this was the final thing. Exciting

the 5mm holes it utilizes are on the arms and it shows there’s nothing on the arms in the photo for robotmode so you’ll be partsforming

 

Or you could leave it on the arms but then there are the spoiler parts on the forearms. The spoiler parts do become leg filler in bot mode.

 

i'm still not a fan of the set. the lifted spoiler just doesn't do it for me

 

It doesn't need to be lifted they have just the flat spoiler plugging into the arm holes but I prefer other third-party ones that pulled the spoiler into the arms

 

Yeah I'm unfortunately going to have to skip this one as well. I often forget Nonnef sets tend to be strongly g1 inspired. That said I appreciate him giving us the option to use the spoiler without the lift but it looks like you have to rotate the halves of the spoiler 180 which makes them more retangular than "v" wing shape. Also great that he's considering chrome options now. It'll make his sets more competitive design wise to those of others such as Matrix Workshops, which is probably the set I'll end up getting instead.

 

Yeah as much as I love Nonnef's stuff, I'm still going with the Go-Better set, that has the best spoiler integration.

 

Sunstreaker chrome set was sold out, but I did get a black spoiler for Cordon and chrome for Spin-Out. We'll see how that goes.

 

I actually love the look of these spoilers compared to the others on the market, but I'd been really hoping there would be a way to mount the spoiler on the back of the robot mode somehow.

 

There might be away by using a few of those 90 degree angle adapters but might end up looking kinda meh.

 

Also missed the metallic ones but from his wording I'm wondering if we dodged a bullet, he doesn't sound overly confident in them. Ordered the regular sets, going to look great!

 

Need a SS86 Jazz kit with a full blaster, forearm covers, wheel peg covers, and thigh fillers. Maybe a plug to patch up that hole in the roof.
