does anyone know if the hip ratchets for combiner wars are still in production or how I could order them? I ordered a set for silverbolt a few years ago when combiner wars were out and just recently got the anime version upgrade kit for abominus and would like to get a set for my hungurr too. I've checked the website, but don't see them there or a contact us button and i'm not on twitter. thanks for any info.

They are out of production. Even if you could get them they don't work with Hun-gurr.

Any idea when the Nightbird set is going to be available? I would love to combine it with the ones I ordered.

New kinds of port adapters are up.
    5mm Peg Adapters

I'm kind of hard pressed to think of a good application for the dual 5mm or the 5mm/3mn adapters. Any ideas? I guess I could stick a dual 5mm in a figure's back port and then they'd look like a wind up clockwork toy. :p

The 2 in 1 (dual) adapters, yeah, I have no idea.

I like the idea of the 5mm to 3mm adapters -- in terms of using blast effects in more places and ways -- but the physics of how those pieces will work isn't very clear from that photo. He said he'll post pictures of them in use tomorrow though.

I was *really* hoping for an adapter that could change a 5mm peg to a 5mm port, but I'm not even sure what that might look like.

Listing for the Nightbird set is up. No pics yet though.
    Nightbird Set : Siege

Going to wait for pics. Even though I don’t have Seige Nightbird I’m still interested to see how this set turned out. Maybe I could repurpose it for another figure.

I've been looking at the Legends set as someone sold me a gold set recently.
I'm obviously having to guess as to who goes with what ; but If I had to guess the more SMG looking gun might belong to Windcharger & or Tailgate ; mostly due to it matching the shape of the Dr. Wu versions and the long one belongs to Brawn or Outback seemingly - Then there is one with a tiny post on the base of the handle that seems to match up to Beachcomber's small hole he has.

So now I get to wondering did anyone ever sit there and go through the cartoon and try to match the guns to the characters ?
It can't be easy as I'm sure some of them actually have more than one kind of gun too (such as Bumblebee) Historically speaking.

    ----------

Speaking of Bumblebee though ; I was watching Cyberverse and I notice they wave certain weapons in front of your face like keys in front of a cat - but I'm not sure many of they exist in a physical form as accessories - such as the Triple Barrel Blaster Windblade took a fancy too and Bumblebee's Cyberverse pistol design. It got me thinking perhaps there is a potential for Cyberverse blasters scaled to Deluxes or Warrior Class that match the TV show designs. especially for characters who are missing their firearms on the toys.

Thanks - that is some what unexpected - I have no memory at all of Windcharger using a miniture version of Optimus Prime's Blaster.

Does that nubin on Seaspray's weapon equate to some sort of Vehicle mode storage ?

These sets do have one unexpected side benefit though - as it's got different designs for Windcharger weapons and Tailgate you can give the earlier versions a different weapon to the POTP version ; which is handy. It looks like Bumblebee is being instructed to only use the Dr. Wu Weapons then since he doesn't get a gun.

I’ve been waiting for some Datsun or Mirage upgrades. I’m surprised we haven’t seen any yet. Or some of the other Seige figures. He’s falling behind.

It lets you tab it on top of hovercraft mode if you leave off his pizza box/missile launcher.
