Our neighbors are playing loud music and it seems to be stressing my bearded dragon as he can't sleep and im worried it may effect him. I can't move his tank to another area which is the biggest problem. Is there anyway I can decrease the amount of music getting into his tank? We have already stuck pillows around it to decrease the noise.

How about asking your neighbors to turn the music down?

If not, I'm not sure, mostly because I'm the one with the loud music. :p

Egg shell containers (the cardboard type, not the styrofoam) capture sound really well supposedly.

Remember too that whatever the tank is sitting on can also convey the sound into the tank. Other than moving it (which you can't do) I am not sure how to solve that problem.

When I worked construction we would put something down in apartments called "Whisper Mat" as an underlayment/sub laminate. I would check out a flooring store to see if they have any scraps you could make use of. The shit really works.

Its a bunch of teens and last time they had a party like this that just turned the music up. This will make it harder for my bearded dragon I fear.

Call the cops. Record the music, show it's from within your house then show the source. Don't mention the lizard, just say you are trying to sleep and it's disturbing you and your animals.

Same problem. The "police" take an hour to come and by the time they have left the street the music goes off again.... Seems they wouldn't know how to smash a stereo if they tried.

Every time the offending household is bothersome with their music, Call the Cops. Sooner or later, they'll be hit with a noise violation and a fine they'll have to pay.

Does this happen a lot or just right now? From your posts, it is happening right now. So the lizard can't sleep for a few hours. I doubt it will die from not sleeping right now.
