I used the search engine on this website to find Hasbro's answer to the question whether they plan to release the Premium Series for ROTF. I did find anything, just threads in order to submit questions. Any help finding that would be much appreciated. What I did find was another website where this questioned was asked and Hasbro said that there were no plans for the Premium Series and that it was too early to discuss this. There's a slew of Qustions and Answers for you here. I hope this helps!
its quite simple hasbro wants to see how fast the toys sell and which figs sell out fastest before deciding on if they want to release premium figs
If the initial waves sell halfway as well as I'd bet they do, I'd be STUNNED if there were no premium figures.
Oh they'll sell! I'm having a hard enough time holding back from buying myself. I can only imagine that 95% of fans will buy begining May30th, then there are parents looking for toys (which is the majority) and then throw in the scalpers and you have lot of sales already. The only thing I see throwing this off is that Hasbro will probably have an abundance of the movie toys on the shelves this time around. This might bode bad for scalpers, but they are in a 'no risk' position, since they just have to keep their reciepts and return items that they don't sell putting them back on the shelf for the public. If Hasbro has an abundance of toys in production, as I assume they do, it might bode well for prices in the future as they go on clearance or discount. Even if Hasbro gets 9.99 for a deluxe, 19.99 for Voyager and 39.99 for Leaders they get their full previous retail asking price and the public gets great toys at a good price.
