This probably has been mentioned or discussed but I could not find a thread on it or answers. I noticed some of the Prime RID toys (at least the ones I own) don't have Autobot and Decepticon faction symbols/insignia on the toys (I have Wheeljack, Ratchet, Takara FE Cliffy, Takara FE Bulkhead, Soundwave). I also have FE Arcee and PRID Prime and I do see a faction symbol on them. But why not the others? Is there a reason why? Is that how it is on the show?

 

FE Cliffy has a faction symbol. It's very small and hard to see. As for the faction symbols on the others? They're supposed to have 'em. They're pretty clear on the show. Bulkhead has his on his forearms, and Soundwave has his on his shoulders.

 

I think its just Hasbro cutting costs on the PRID line. I can't seem to find the Autobot symbol on my Takara FE Bulkhead, but other than him all the FE's have symbols I believe. They all have symbols on the show, but even the FE toys don't have them in the correct location.

 

could be cost-cutting but sounds like a minor gimmick, ALL the prime revealers (deluxe) don't have insignias, even the new deluxes (arcee, ratchet, knockout, hotshot, and vehicon)

you think it has something to do with robots in disguise theme sort of? seems intentional for the deluxes while voyagers and cyberverse have their insignia. Not sure x:

Reprolables Silver outlined Faction symbols. fucking awesome, IMHO.

 

Strange how the cheap Cybervese Prime figures have symbols and the PRID doesn't.

 

I had an active POL on BBTS. I didn't see any clear stickers, but I saw red and purple stickers with clear backgrounds. I hope those look good, too!

Edit: Never mind. Found them on the Reprolabels website. I am torn which to get.

 

I like clear vinyl the best. When u put them on it looks more like it was painted on rather than just stickers.

 

Inexpensive...there is nothing cheap about the commanders! lol

 

Another reason to go Cyberverse.  

 

Cyberverse Bulkhead and Megatron are pretty awesome. Optimus and Starscream..... not so much.

 

The only real problem with Starscream is his arms.

I personally think Optimus is pretty great, although he looks better if you tilt his feet to give him a more natural-looking stance.

 

I think I prefer having no insignias so I can choose where to put them myself. The Voyagers have intrusive huge symbols that look weird.

 

Now we know the Vehicon will have one on his chest.

Because of a missing faction symbol? Please.
