So I saw some mods at required putting a hole in FOC Vortex to move his back pack but you don't need to cut your figure. Save his value, Pull the blades from the arm. Lift the tail section and slide the rounded part up his back. Easy as pie.

Simple, elegant, looks good. How secure is it back there? Might use this for display until I get the courage to do a non-partsforming solution (I hate partsforming with a fiery passion, that's why I love FoC Bruti so much).

Oh yeah I remember doing this too. I found it has variable results. Some times it's in there really good and others it falls out super easily.

Iffy. I just did the Mod and the clip in which the blades and the panel are attached to is very tight and I felt like i was going to rip the whole assembly apart, and then when I applied some pressure the peg came loose.

This solves the main problem with Vortex. I'll have to try this. Probably with the retail version first so I don't wreck the SDCC one. I guess this means I have to pick up that Vortex.

Not sure what magic you guys are using to get the rotor piece out of the arm. I've tried everything from 'reasonable force' to 'unreasonable force' to get it out. Won't even budge an inch. I'm convinved that if I up the ante to 'ludicrous force' it'll break. And presumably you have to somehow get the lug out each and every time you transform him?

You just have to pull on the rotor piece evenly.
meaning you have to grab all four sides and
pull on them with an even amount of force.

All I do is pull. It's just clipped in the same as Jazz's or Knock Out's wheels.

Yes or like the Sword in the Stone.

If it weren't for the fact the assembly can rotate, I'd have assumed it was fixed in with an adhesive worthy of Beelzebub himself. It's not that I can't get it all the way out, it doesn't move at all. I'm assuming not all Vortexes (Vortices) are created equal.

I used a screwdriver and pushed it from the bottom and it popped out like a charm!

Just did this to mine and it was a bitch to get out. I took a hair dryer on high heat to the bottom and it made it flex enough the first removal that I can do it without being afraid to destroy it now.
