Other than the one igear had made a while back how in gods name has no third party company figured out that its basically money to come up with a decent sized voyager seeker figure that you could about three time and come up with at least 9 to 10 characters.

    starscream
    thundercracker
    skywarp
    dirge
    thrust
    ramjet
    acidstorm
    sandstorm
    firestorm
    sunstorm
    air warriors

It looks to be a pretty profitable idea and you could make a solid return and sell them for 65 bucks a pop with minor retooling

This seems like a valid concern.

There seem to be lots of options for Seekers...

    Classics (obviously)
    Prime
    Animated
    CW
Isn't TR rumored to have a set coming?
    Movie
    FOC Deluxes
    Planet X Voyager FOC
    Upsized KO Legends coming
    RID
    Impossible Toys Tetra Jets
    IGear Raptors
    MMC HOS
MakeToys has hinted at their Transdimensional Line

Are there really that many collectors looking to drop $600 on Seekers/Coneheads for their Classics collection?

I'm sincerely curious how big of a demand there is for this.

I've wanted CHUG voyager seekers for quite some time now as well. Need a decent CHUG voyager Soundwave.

I'd keep your eyes on the Maketoys Cross Dimension Seekers. Only issue for them maaaay be the dinobot armor, but that looks to be removable to give you regular Seekers.

For whatever reason 3P had avoided the most single obvious 3P item like the plague. The closest option of any quality is the Planet X FoC Starscream (Planet X being by far the best 3P line IMO, certainly for CHUG scale). The iGear ConAir Raptors exist, but they have a very weird look.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a MP-11 KO downscaled and modified like Optimus Prime in the next year. But that's honestly a missed opportunity.

The whole question of CHUG seekers has another thing involved in it. Much of their look (particularly Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp) is from details from the F-15C, specifically the wings, and the air intake. If you try to turn a seeker into an F-22 (a common approach since it's the F-15's direct successor as an air superiority fighter), the ramps and wing shapes are completely different and just don't look very good. It comes off as a bad immitation of Starscream rather than a "real" Starscream.

This gives us the option of:

F-15C again (in which case, why not just go with a MP-11 downscaled KO eventually?)
F-22, and accept they'll only have a modest resemblance. IGear did this
A fictional jet that is kind of a modernized F-15C with F-22 details. Hasbro has done elements of this at various spots. They usually skip the air intakes but have an F-15C like wing.
