As you all know, they cancelled TF-Con because of Covid-19. The only part about any TF-Con I care about is the Third Party presentation about future releases. It occurred to me that they don't need to actually be present in Orlando to release this video.

Possible, but I see the more likely outcome being 3p companies just throughout the month posting announcements on their own.

 

TFW2005 has always gotten the slides shown within an hour or 2 after the presentation, but I wouldn't expect a video format. The biggest question is have 3P companies turned in images to create the slide show or not. We have no idea how many of them would have actually submitted anything new to begin with, and of those if any have had issues due to Corona that caused them to not get anything together to send to TFCon yet.

 

CNY followed by C-Virus might mean not much going on in the TP world... But hopefully if anything was planned for TFN it will all pop up on here at the weekend (reveals, exclusives etc)

 

The slideshow has been pretty tame the last 2 years. I don’t feel like I’m missing much...

 

But the FT silhouettes!!

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the 3Ps just use this as an opportunity to catch up given the delays and push any announcements to the next TFCon, whether that's Toronto or something in the Fall.

 

That's also my opninion. I don't think 3p had the chance to prepare themself for tfcon this year, with all what chine has been and still is going through....
we just have to wait

And it is the internet. If a company really wants to get its product advertised, all they have to do is post images either on their website or fan sites like this one.

A cancelled event certainly doesn't impact advertising to any significance.

 

I guess they could release the presentation, even if there isn't a lot of content, or else, wait until TFCon in Toronto in July...

Nice! Something to look forward to! Love all the effort to post cool stuff online during the quarantine/isolation, to keep people's spirits up.  

 

If that fails I can make a slideshow of blurry box art silhouettes with randomly generated names. Pretty much the same thing.
