http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=6122 They should make SMB a unlockable or something in NSMB... other applications...hmm
Awwww no Zelda swordplay with the controller? But still, a nice feature. Aiming the bow on horseback should be much easier now. hmmmm... and other applications... REVOLUTION IS A TOASTER TOO!?! Anyway.. I wanna see Revo games now!
The "New" Mario Bros. game is exactly what the doctor ordered. So long as it doesn't "require" the stylus to be played, I think I will love it. And it may be the first time I am tempted to pick up a DS. If this were out at launch I would have jumped on it back then. The Revolution stuff sounds ok, I guess. I really need to see the controler in action, or more likely try it myself, before I can make any judgements.
note that he gave examples of how it would be used he never said anything about discarding the idea of using the controller as a sword. NSMB sounds good I WANT IT.-as much as I know Ill probably just buy hunters, and GBAMP a rev if its on my price range
I think what we're supposed to get from the quote is that you can do more with the Rev controller than just swing the sword around.
My friend gave me a gyration air mouse as a belated birthday present. If the rev controller is anything like it, I think there will be a lot of frustrated gamers. It takes some getting use to. One thing nintendo has to make sure they do is allow for range of motion that varies from game to game. If I play a golf game, I want to be able to stand up, and swing that remote as if it were a club. Using it to fly a plane, however, should be a smaller and more precise range of motion.
Good news on NSMB, the lack of any overworld screenies so far made me think that it was going to be completely linear like SMB rather then a bit looser like SMB3 and SMW.
Man, it sucks that's prolly one of the reasons why the GC Zelda is being held back for so long. I'd rather have no revo features on my new Zelda if it meant getting it out on time.
