went to TRU today, found 2 of these adapters. they look like white hockey pucks.

tested them. they work fine. picked up a couple of skylanders as well.

I think I'm having problem with my 3DS battery. Its been dead for the past few months and last night I decided to charge it before I headed to bed. This morning, it did not turn on, even with the cable plugged in. I took out the battery and noticed that there was a slight bump on the top and bottom of the battery like something exploded on the inside. I put it back in anyways and after 10 minutes of constant attempts at turning it on, it finally does. Should I just go ahead and replace the battery? Its the first 3DS and I practically leave it in the charging cable 24/7.

I'd try to get another battery.

Bought a black New 3DS XL today, currently doing a wireless transfer. Not sure how long this will take.

I called Gamestop earlier and they said they had the N3DS XL for $175 and some a Zelda Hyrule Edition in stock. A few hrs later, I went in and low and behold, they didn’t have any of those in stock. Sold the last N3DS XL yesterday. I ended up getting the handheld at Best Buy and thankfully, they price matched Gamestop’s $175 deal.

Even though I have no interest in Fire Emblem, I kinda wish I bought that bundle when I saw it last week. Yeah, it was $200 at the time, but I really like having white devices.

i'd be pissed if I went in and they said they didn't have any in stock after calling them.

My black Zelda faceplate is nice but I want a white version.

When I was out trying to pick up a N3DS yesterday, I brought my 3DS because my friend wanted to see it. I never bring it out. Anyways, I was quite surprised that I spotpassed with 10 people. This was after stopping by GS. I used to bring my 3DS to class a couple years ago and hardly ever got a tag.

I might just start bringing my 3DS with me. Although, my cell phone is practically the same size as the XL, it might be annoying having that in my back pocket.

Yeah, but $25 less, I was fine with it. I'd be looking at the inside more than the actual cover. Plus I might actually buy a case for it. Thinking a clear case and just adding a sticker or something inside it.

I've noticed this in my area too. Each year the number of street passes has slowly increased as has the number of people locally playing Monster Hunter. Definitely a good sign.

Sweet. A 3DS thread. In know I'm late, but whatever.

Australia finally got the Nintendo Selects price drops...and it's basically Star Fox, Pilotwings and the Nintendogs games.

    My reaction, if you will:

Well at least a whole bunch of Atlus games got permanently reduced. Yey.

Ah, this wasn't that you passed 10 people. For a while now Nintendo have arranged for Streetpass Hotspots that store the last 10 people to pass by on it in the last 24 hours or something, and then that is what jumps into your 3DS. It really helped the number of Streetpasses I recieved.

What am I playing right now? It's either Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin or Senran Kagura Burst. Seriously. Castlevania is self explanatory, but SKB less so. Aside from me being a massive pervert (cuz I am) the game is actually one of the best side scrolling beat 'em up on the 3DS that I've played. Certainly better than all the TMNT games I've grabbed. Sure it's 'repetitive' but that's a complaint that can be levelled at every beat 'em up! Plus one of the big complaints about the game is a choppy frame rate which just isn't so, at least on my NN3DS. One thing that is annoying as hell, it regularly pops in and out of 3D, presumably to save those frame rate issues that I'm just not noticing.

I had a friend message me tonight about a screw up on his 3DS. He charged $300 worth of eshop credit instead of $30. He had enough for it, but now he can't go back. Hope he swapped out the SD card, otherwise he's not going to have enough space.

(I managed to swap my micro SD with a 128gb one.)

That's impossible to do unless he charged $100 three separate times by entering credit card info three separate times.

That's what he did. He mistook the $100 for the $10.

And that's why you don't buy games when you're tired.

/\ And as usual Australia gets none of those discounts whatsoever.
