Nickelodeon is really going to Thundercats Roar it up, aren’t they?
Those are decent books compared to the tedious trash IDW is currently putting out.
Count me in with the people who think the new race can be minicons. I mean lore wise that's what a lot of them at least if not all of them were like in the first place especially in the Unicron Trilogy so it'd make sense to go that route especially with the family taking them in route.
this is the truest comment here. My girlfriend nanny’d a 1 and 4 year old for a few years. The four year old loved rescue bots. So of course I fostered his interest in transformers and expanded it. He watched the 86 movie with me a month ago and he’s obsessed with TF more than ever. Currently his fav character is blaster so I gave him the Titans return toy. That boy’s family has spent hundreds of dollars on tf toys, merch, and bday decorations plus watched everything transformers. Rescue bots is the seed Hasbro is planting for harvest in the future
My excitement is high but i need the voice cast.
Maybe I am getting too old, maybe this is not intended for me, this just does not sound like my cup of tea. And that is okay! Transformers is not a "me" thing, it is a "something for everyone" thing, and the more the merrier! I do, personally, enjoy the BotBots and I am looking forward to their cartoon. This one strikes me as another Transformers Animated type of deal and I loved it in its time, but I have moved on from that.
I hope it is successful, though. It would be great for another TF cartoon to entertain kids and get them involved. I feel, aside from Cyberverse, that we have forgotten them and they should be a major focus, if not the sole one.
Rip. Dead already....
Nah, that would imply if they still made a show for Cartoon Network. This new Transformers Show already has CGI in mind, we honestly won't know what the writing style would even be like. But if the writer of the Loud House is involved, we might expect the opposite of Thundercats Roar/Teen Titans Go situation. Both shows using nostalgic designs for window dressing for something that's basically a "Awkward Parody".
Who knows. Maybe they might give Transformers the TMNT 2012 treatment?
That wouldn't be bad at all, TMNT 2012, while not my favorite version, is a very solid series.
What about hiring Ron Friedman or Dille?
Yeah, i have a feeling Nickelodeon would benefit from having a show that's sorta nostalgic in a way that it doesn't take a front seat, meanwhile they could still do comedic moments that aren't too jarring and/or mean-spirited. And not let the comedic elements take over either. It had to be a balancing act.
Plus. Imagine if this Nickelodeon show would have some show within a show that homages something like... i don't know... Diaclone?
That would be great
Aw aye both of ye's from the future? Aye?
The question is, if they going to even include these "2D Art Segments" who would animate them? And in what specific style? Something would would Emulate Toei's cel-shaded style?
Hasbro Super Hero FemBots! (seriously, I would not say no to that).
it might be union
Its called an educated guess.
Fingers crossed! I miss the days when Transformers had good voice acting.
Non union can be good, they just need someone who is actually good at casting and voice direction. A good example is TMNT 2k3 which had a non union cast yet was still good in the voice acting department
She really should re-think that picture. I'm sorry, but that picture of Jordan Rosato gives the mischievous impression of someone who has either: a) just stolen the last chocolate strawberry at the company picnic or b) someone who just secretly farted in a group of people and is waiting for them to catch wind of it.
