And the Superpants Optimus Prime update will be its flagship holiday toy!
Rad please tell us about the traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaansformers.
When I first read the story for this show, I assumed it was the BotBots cartoon until I realized that the production team and what it aired on (Nickelodeon instead of Netflix) were completely different.
Might be cool. Odds the show is intended to sell the toys aimed at the 3-steps crowd pretty high?
Preferably/Hopefully without holographic technology that has me scrambling for days to understand it and still going
Also no tokusatsu syndrome, have your partner/weapon loaded up at all times
Your wish is my command.
i thought loud house was ok however i'm hoping that isn't the type of show they're making
What about Micron Legend's openings ?
TORANSFOMA osoru na mae wo muite
DREAM AGAIN densetsu ga yomigaeru made
Cool cool cool, but what's the deal with networks still insisting on a delay between the US and international premieres of shows? That sheesh is getting uploaded online the minute it ends so why not just... make it available everywhere at the same time anyway?
Yeah, I feel you, dog, I too hate it when the franchise that is primarily targeted towards children is targeted towards children. Who do you think the G1 cartoon was meant for?
Although at first sight the news sounds horrible, I will remain positive for these reasons.
The designs will be extremely stylized. As was Animated. Animated toys were some of the best. If Hasbro can accomplish this magoc again that will rock.
The show may be funny. I refused to watch Teen Titans Go because of the changes made from the OG series which I loved. I watch it now with my kids and LOVE IT. It\'s got some very high brow humour.
So, making the best out of this, it has a great deal of promise.
and don't forget about the Marvel comics too
and to answer your question
I wouldn\'t say it\'s going to be horrible just because it\'s nickelodeon. They\'re one network that\'s hard to know if the new show will be good or bad unlike Cartoon Network.
We know one thing for sure: 20 episodes per season is the limit
Not a fan of DC Super Hero Girls, but Loud House was ok. I don't have any daughters, if I did they would probably have liked her stuff.
I hope BotBots will be more like the Thundercats Roar show. That show was amusing.
...you mean like that one cartoon that came out in the 80s aimed at kids called "Transformers?" How'd that turn out?
Which is hilarious because G1 was not nearly as dour or slow paced. Show me *anything* in the Netflix series even remotely close to this:
G1 had more personality and was less serious than WFC is.
BotBot's is for 3-7 year olds. G1 and WFC are more for 8-12 year olds.
Could be Mini-Cons, BotBots, Beast Wars style organics, who knows. All three would be viable opportunities for a different take on bots living among humans compared to the original or even Bay/Bee stuff.
Netflix's show is for grown-ups who think G1 was anything more than a cartoon meant to sell toys to kids. It's an interesting take, but barely rises above ascended fanfiction in terms of what it's trying to do.
Also, people dumping on stuff like BotBots and Rescue Bots forget the latter had a consistent toyline for 10 years and about 6 years worth of TV in that time. Nothing to sneeze at, especially as a way to introduce Transformers to young audiences who aren't old enough for the more complex toys of Cyberverse and Generations.
The key to any good toyline is to ensure you're replacing the kids who grow out of it. Rescue Bots served that purpose, and will be missed. It'll be interesting to see if BotBots can catch on and take over in that slot, though it's target audience is a little bit older. But if it does, you've got a great pipeline to Generations.
but it is more!
there were also the Marvel Comics, it wasn't just a cartoon
Okay but also...
