both i suppose. i've been teaching middle school art for the last 7 years. i just finished my graduate degree. i'm taking some time off from school, our son noble was just born, and then i'm going to start my doctorate.

so i do it for fun and full time. other then my music it's all i know. only problem is, with it being my job, sometimes i don't want, or get, to create.

the tf stuff is actually pretty new to me. i tend to stick with comic stuff or abstact art.

 

Just saw your 12/10 update..Prime is looking fabulous!..even with so little time to devote to your art, wonderful work!!!

Wow! It's soo cool to see this piece slowly come to life as it has. Absolutely breathtaking.

This has came out very nicely and clean. Great job  

 

thanks guys. it's not finished yet, i still have some more shadows to put in. my next update should be my last but it won't be until after christmas.

 

i'm not use to such detail and the angles of these shadows are a pain in the butt.  

i also decided that i'm going to go back and, at least in all the blue, re-ink all the lines.

it's also became mixed media b/c i'm using a prismacolor white charcoal pencil to make some of the details pop out through contrast.

i can't believe i started this thread in jan of this year and it's almost a year old. at the rate i'm going, going back and re-inking and outlining, it may be another year before it's done.

 

I wish I could have just half the skill you do.

 

Take your time, your work so far has been fantastic, when it comes to Prime you should never rush the work ..  Loved the lastest update. As always, very nice work  

 

This really looks amazing. It's nice to see something that's done in a non-digital format every once in a while, especially when it's done by someone with the obvious skill to pull it off.

That's how I got sucked into buying one back in the 80's and he sucks!

Now if Hasbro ever did a modern PM Prime with some articulation,,,,,,,,
