The bigger concern is Crosby. Hopefully he's ok and doesn't have another concussion.

Son of a bitch, he does! At the very least, we have good depth and nearly won last night anyway, but losing Crosby (and Sheary for that matter too) is a huge blow to the team since he makes every other player way better too. And I really should stop looking at comments on articles. I am so pissed now because people are already making fun of this and saying he deserved it. Look, I hate Tom Brady's guts, but you won't see me cheering when he's injured (different sport I know, but same idea).

I am not a Crosby fan but I respect his talents and achievements! Nobody should ever wish for another player to get injured. You always want your best skaters vs the other teams best skaters. Such a tough call on that play thou. Ovechkin should have gotten a penalty for the slash and a stick to the helmet. He is certainly not innocent. I have been playing hockey for 35 years and I would have done what Niskanen did too. You have a guy falling into you and my first instinct would be to brace and protect myself. I would extend my arms to and of course my stick would be in my hands. Ovechkin started it with the cheap shot from behind. At the end of the day, hockey players are always responsible for their sticks.

Agreed the tap by Ovechkin was completely unnecessary. I can't really fault Niskanen though. Even if the hit was intentional, I don't think he meant to hit him in the head.

Yeah, that's the way I saw it, too. Def Ovi's fault. Looks like Niskanen was just bracing himself or at worst wanted to check Crosby in the arm.

Really hope the Pens can win. Caps series win will be tainted from now on if they win.

Found a cheap seat for last night's game ("All for one" is last minute single seats for Rangers games). Got a ticket for 30% of face!

Great win! Hoping they can continue the momentum.

I'm glad the Draft Lottery exists, teams should not be rewarded for having terrible seasons. As a Canucks fan, it has been so annoying to have to listen to people talk about how they need to loose as much as possible so they can get a great draft pick. I am completely against this type of mentality. The Red Wings made the playoffs for over 25 years in a row and they didn't have a top draft pick during that entire run. A team like that is what a franchise should strive to be like, not teams like Edmonton who suck for 10 years in a row before they finally get a Connor McDavid to pull them out of their misery.

The best revenge is sending the Caps back to Washington down 3-1. While you could tell Sid was missing, the depth of the Penguins offensive is just incredible. I mean they just beat the Capitals without the best player in the NHL, and they nearly beat Toronto at the end of the regular season when he only played for like two minutes and Jarry was in goal instead of Fleury or Murray. Fleury has been on fire in the playoffs for most part this year, and I'm happy for him.

I'm starting to think Jagr will never be inducted into the Hall of Fame because he will never retire. LOL. I'd really like to see him hoist the Cup at least one more time and become second in all-time points.

Are you a Sens fan? If so good game! If you're a Rangers hater, I get that, too.

Still hope the Rangers can pull off a win.
