I think Jack Del Rio is kind of wrong, but at the risk of breaking a rule, I do think he has a point. That attack was an embarrassment, and shouldn’t have happened. (The president takes responsibility) However, I do think it’s ignorant and irresponsible, to act as if the summer of protests in 2020 were small and not as bad. I keep hearing of 7 people dying, and the majority of that was suicide after the fact. While a tragedy, that shouldn’t be connected to the event. I’m so sick and tired of hearing about this story through a political party view though. There were people who got detained that didn’t do a damn thing, some of which have had no trial and have been in solitary confinement since then. You want to talk cruel and unusual punishment? There it is. I don’t care about what the moderation thinks on this. The fact that the sports world has taken the wrong approach to this is a microcosm of discourse in this country.

they already decided there isn’t evidence for criminal charges hence all the civil suits. so unless new evidence shows up that ship has sailed. He may get banned from the league but as of now there won’t be any jail time for his creepy ass.
