Without Drew Brees and Sean Payton, I wonder how well the Saints will do this season.

I'm wondering what else is going to go down with the Washington owner situation. Lots of rumors on Twitter yesterday that the NFL had finally had enough. But he's certainly the type that would bring anyone he could down with him and all the other owners know that.

It's fucking ridiculous that the so called experts are already saying K.C. is the favorite to win the Super Bowl.

How can you even pick a favorite the day after? So many things still gotta happen before next season starts. Free agents, draft, trades, retirements.

That's what they do on all these sports shows the day after. It's moronic.

It’s not like they can see the future or anything (unlike THESE guys…)

I can see the future too.

Someone will say, "oh, really? Who is going to win Superbowl LVII?"

And then I'll say "I can't tell you that because I'll die but if it makes you happy, Steelers."

And that same someone will say, "yeah right."

Truth is, it's anyone's game and too soon to tell.

I'm going with my boys, Patriots.

And of course, me being a glutton for punishment (partly due to still-unexplainable stupidity), I’m still hoping it’ll FINALLY be the year of the Jets

Clearly this will be the start of a Trey Lance-led 49ers dynasty. Hope you don't get tired of seeing him become the new face of the NFL over the next decade. ;)

Historically, I have rooted for teams because I liked their QB. John Elway for example. I loved the Broncos when he played there. When he retired, I started rooting for teams that are really terrible (like the Browns and the Bucs) because it's a real surprise when they win a game and a great reason to celebrate.

Having said that, I look forward to the Bucs being terrible again so I can root for them.

Having come up on my Facebook feed, then checking his Wikipedia page, is Bubba Smith not in the NFL Hall Of Fame yet?!

What he did was very dumb and I'm not defending it but I also don't see how the league can leap into bed with gambling like they are and think there will be no problems.
