Just take the college overtime rules and move it to midfield instead of the 25 yard line. It’s not that complicated. It prevents ties. Both teams have a chance, and it is shorter most of the time. Plus some of the best college football games have gone into multiple overtimes (for instance, the 2006 Orange Bowl)

 

Personally I wish they would go back to how it use to be. First team to score wins, done deal. I also wish they moved extra point attempts back to where they use to be.
