well as your resident pats fan i'm not happy with the outcome but i am happy with mac jones. 29 of 39 for 281yards and a td. converting 11 of 16 third downs against a pretty tough looking defense.

but those fumbles...2 at a loss...and those penalties killed us in the end. i'm all for mac moving forward but the patriots need to tighten it up.

 

So how long before Aaron Rodgers gets benched? It's clear he's checked out.

We didn't win, we survived. I attribute it to the defense getting tired because it's the first game of the season....or atleast that is what I'm hoping.

The Lions offense was out on the field much longer than the Niners were, so the defense had to be tired. The Jason Verrett injury was when everything started to implode though.
