Hah, I remember that one! One of the great memories from that season, along with the JJ Worton one-handed TD catch...

Oh yeah, against Temple. The thing about that game that got me the most is how the A.D. at the time got in the elevator just before the end of the game and just assumed that it was headed to OT and was shocked that Rannell Hall got behind the defense with 10 seconds left and that UCF was able to pull victory out of the jaws of possible defeat.

One other thing that I succinctly remember was how people kept laughing at UCF saying that Baylor would beat the Knights by at least 50 points and that it was a joke that UCF was even mentioned in the same breath of Baylor, who had a once in a lifetime offense at the time.

Of course, UCF holds Baylor to "only" 42 points, 7 of which was a garbage time TD and UCF won going away, 52-42. Blake Bortles, Rannell Hall, Storm Johnson, and Breshad Perriman all have played in the NFL (I also think about 4 or 5 other players have also played in the NFL as well)

Definitely one of my favorite nights of CFB ever, for sure! The game never even felt as close as the 10-point margin suggested, it was pure consistent offensive domination by the Knights from start to finish. I remember the Baylor defense holding and committing pass interference all night long because they were simply overwhelmed and couldn't keep up.

As part of the festivities that night I had originally committed to eating some Tostitos chips and salsa everytime the Knights got a first down or scored (more chips the bigger the play) and started to feel sick by the second quarter. :lol

Thanks for linking the video... made my morning reliving it! And watching Bortles throw those tight spirals... I hope he plays like that today against Pittsburgh!!

With no Bucs game today, what game should I watch ?

Hell, I'll go with Jets-Browns. Should be an interesting game at least.

EDIT: Oh, and if Derek Carr does, in fact, convince the coaches and doctors to let him play today, well, he deserves the "Bad Mother Fucker" of the year award.

EDIT 2: The Browns just tried a QB option pitch, wth! (And then promptly fumbled it at the Jets 5 yard line. This isn't college. This is the Browns though, so yeah, that makes sense....

EDIT 3: And the Browns continue to do Browns things. Ugh. Though I am not a Browns fan it is kinda painful to see such a historically great team become such a pile of garbage for the past 20 years...

Browns also replaced their QB too. No wonder why their QB situation is always horrible.

3-0 Jets. Nailed a tough as hell 57 yarder - and then the Browns big play is probably going to be overturned.

Yeah I saw that. You know your team is awful when you bench your starting QB at halftime.

Jay Cutler is 6 of 12 for 20 yards.

Somewhere in there is a joke about anemia and not giving a shit...

EDIT: Frank Gore is STILL a workhorse back. Tough SOB and a first ballot HOF'er. (IMO)

EDIT II: The AFC South is so mediocre that an SEC team might be able to win it.

Jets won but not surprising since we were against the worst team in the league.

Jags are the most bipolar team ever. They blow out a solid team every other week, with a confounding loss in between.

Their defense is tops in the NFL on a good week though. Absolutely magnificent.

    R.I.P Big Ben.

5 picks vs Jaguars. He's definitely retiring after this year.
