Ticket sales are down 17.5% for this weeks games.

The reason is obvious: Fans are revolting because Andrew Luck isn't playing.

    Dun Dun Duuuuunnnnn!!!!

(what did you think I was going to say?)

Trevathan only got a 2-game suspension for the hit on Adams. Lame.

Oh, but the NFL takes players safety seriously.

    Really, they do. Totally serial.

I was thinking you were going to make a reference to...the fact that fans hate the refs for not calling plays consistently. Yeah, that's it.

You need to chill out. The next court date is Monday. Til then, he's still playing. Unless...you really believe he should be suspended?

Yeah, like...Lucky Charms. Because they're magically delicious.

In all seriousness it's more than likely because the NFL has become the new big political arena because of the whole National Anthem debacle. (And that's all I'm saying so as not to break the rules)

Yeah, I hear ya' my brother. I was just trying to make a non-serious satire like vague reference to it just to prove that we can all have a good laugh without being a bunch of jerks about it....

That said though, the NFL has serious problems even without that.

    Officiating

Replay being a joke much of the time

    Games too long

    Too many commercials

Too much upsell from the league such as saying I am a lousy fan for not buying a 100 dollar jersey.

Players that are jerks that don't appreciate the fans

Greedy owners screwing the fans and tax payers over.

When the TV contracts start to be renegotiated in a few years I think the league is in for a rude awakening.

They were too busy handing out an unnecessary fine to Odell Beckham for his harmless though immature "peeing dog" celebration.

In all honesty, this is Trevathan's first offense that I'm aware of, so he likely has the benefit of doubt for now.

Back in the mid-90's, there was an Arena League Player named Jackie Walker. He was an NFL flameout but he found a second career with the Orlando Predators.

Well, when he would score a TD, he would, well, have simulated sex with the ball as part of his celebration. League never did anything about it. They had better things to worry about such as trying to see which teams would fold at the end of the year and leave a mountain of unpaid bills.....

Wow....just wow. So you can't even make a joke now. Fuck it. You should have just called it out for what it was. And...it was because they didn't have the butt pads available so they're whinging about their butts being uncomfortable when they're sitting on the benches when the other part of their team takes the field. Right? No? Maybe Charmin can be a sponsor of the NFL. Remember that old commercial? :lol

Yeah, the celebration rules relaxed this year, but still. I guess I could understand the refs on that one. As far as Trevathan is concerned, he was rather apologetic afterwards. He could appeal. I mean, those two games are gonna cost him a little over $234,000 in pay. That's a HUGE ass paycheck man! And if he sincerely really wasn't trying to knock out Adams...then who knows.

Saints finally get the ball in the endzone. We needed that. The Dolphins were taking to long.
I can agree with this since a show I like on CBS will probably not be airing when its suppose to air.

So Miami loses to the worst team in the league last week, and now can't score a point against the 2nd-worst pass defense in the league. Dolphins are absolutely pathetic.
