So the NFL walks into a bar....
Appeals are never usually won. I am not surprised.
I'm shocked it didn't get reduced. Obviously this arbitrator is using him as an example.
Damn. Now I'm hearing maybe Philadelphia or Pittsburgh hosting the game ?!
Ok, this thing has now officially jumped the proverbial shark.
Buh bye Zeke and the Boys. And suck it Skip Bayless!
People like him played a very significant role in my decision to throw my TV set in the garbage can a few years ago.
Are we doing a pick'em this year?
For the Super Bowl? Someone started that a few posts back.
Hater. Zeke still playing game 1 and prolly rest of season
WTF! You're telling me the one game Zeke isn't suspended for is the week I go against someone who owns him in my fantasy league. At least the Giants have stopped him before and can do it again.
Considering Hell on Earth is barreling towards Miami as we speak, Philadelphia/Pittsburgh are decent enough choices at this point in time and they're far enough away from any potential impacts.
Yeah, because he's the only good player on our team. Please.
Apparently they are moving the game to Week 11 (which is stupid in my opinion). Heinz Field is completely free this weekend for sure. The Pitt Panthers and the Steelers both have away games this weekend.
It's b/c the NFL and that POS Roger Goodell couldn't figure out how to make enough money on it.
It is a shame though b/c that game being in Pittsburgh would have been a hell of an atmosphere. About the closest they can get to ever hosting a non-Steelers playoff game. (Seriously, put the Super Bowl in Pittsburgh. Damn. I would love that.)
Remember that Pink October thing from a few years ago ? Most of the money went into the NFL coffers and only a small fraction went to breast cancer research. That type of money grubbing constant up-sell is why I (and so many others) enjoy watching the MAC, Sun Belt, 1-AA (FCS), and Arena Football.
Pats game tonight! And have confirmation that I got tickets through work for the Saints/Pats game next week. First and only time I'll get to see Brady play more than likely. Hopefully Saints don't pull some fuckery and actually win.
It probably goes without saying, but I'm really pulling for the Chiefs tonight
Make sure if you can to get there early and check out the proshop and hall of fame.
I swear I heard this exact rant from Bob Costas at the beginning of last season on the overtime rules.
Anyway, season is finally here boys! Hoping for a decent game tonight.
He's right though. NFL overtime rules are horsesh#t.
