I'm so happy the Steelers traded Ross Cockrell. We got rid of a guy who can't cover a jar for another draft pick next year.

That's an idiotic trade for the Colts. You don't deal with the Patriots ever. Dorsett isn't great, but he had flashes of talent, and they traded him for a third string quarterback? Yeah, he had five touchdowns in the last game, but we've seen this before where teams trade for Patriots players that do jack squat anywhere else.

    Any other surprise cuts ?

Imo, the Ravens cut several players that i am a bit taken aback about.

Maybe they have good depth this year ?

Oh, and i have heard Brick squelly flyer has gone back to Denver ?!

Ok guys, super bowl picks. Who ya' got ?
Lets put our names on it.
    For me, cowboys and Raiders.
And, just to prove I am not a homer, Bucs go 7-9 and surprise and shock everyone but myself.

A better depth QB got released the other day, Thaddeus Lewis.

Trading with the Patriots is like trading with a mob boss, no matter what happens he gets his and you'll get screwed.

I'm waiting for a smart ass to come here and say something like, I dunno, Forty Whiners vs. Browns.

(which was a kick ass match up back when they were both in the old AAFC. Yes, there was another merger before the AFL-NFL merger. The 49ers, Colts, and Browns came over from the All American Football Conference. The LA Dons and the original Buffalo Bills got sadly left behind)

As much as I hate to say it I gotta go with the Patriots for the AFC. The division is theirs untill Brady is done.

NFC is a bit harder. I think Dallas will take a step back because that's what they do. GB is plausible. Or maybe the goddamn Giants.

Love my Raiders but I feel it's going to be Patriots vs. it doesn't matter because the Patriots will win it all again.

I refuse to say New England, so I say my Steelers vs the Falcons. I honestly don't see Atlanta slowing down, and the Steelers were just one game away from being in the Big Game again last season. I say the Steelers send off Big Ben and Dan Rooney with Lombardi #7.

Also, I have to wonder if John Elway somehow planned out this Brock Osweiler thing. He didn't want to overpay him, so he let the Texans do it foolishly. Then the Browns took on the burden of his contract, and now he's back in Denver for a bargain on Denver's part. And Brock is still getting a lot of money to be a subpar quarterback. Pretty much everyone but the Texans won.
