Thugs like Suh, and those idiots in Cincinnati need to be dealt with by the league. Imo, they have no place in the league.

Thanks a lot Dolphins. I need to win this week to stay #1 in my fantasy league, and you just gave my opponent's defense two pick sixes. At least the Vikings defense is playing against the Browns, so maybe I can come close to matching it with the way Kizer tries to throw into double coverage.

Someone just needs to clip Suh right in the knees and end his career. Guys a thug plain and simple and doesn't belong in the league.

Well, I picked up Matt Moore this week as a QB2 hoping he'd be a slight upgrade over a Trevor Siemian who's been very ineffective as of late...

    Negative 8 points. :lol

Honestly, there are worst acts to choose from. Picking an act they have used before is dumb. Pick somebody that hasn't already played the halftime show. Somebody like "Weird Al" would be a fun choose.

There was one band I would have liked to see preform... but after what happened this summer, that probably won't happen.

What I find funny is that their game against the Saints was only half the score of the game against the Ravens.

Linkin Park would have been a cool choice.

And Miami... I don’t know how they’ve won 4 games. They magnificently suck.

See, I disagree. I watched the video a few times, and while I don't like seeing players get hurt, I'm leaning more towards agreeing with Alonso's explanation of what happened. Flacco decided to slide very late. Alonso was expecting him to slide about a second earlier and thought he would miss him, but that didn't happen and they collided. It's football. It's a game of fractions of a second. Sometimes collisions happen. I think it was called correctly with just the unsportsmanlike penalty.

According to NFL rules, a QB who slides late can be hit by a defender but still cannot be hit forcibly in the head.

I don't think Alonso intentionally meant to connect with Flacco's head, and the bad timing of a late slide caused it. If Flacco slid earlier, Alonso would've flew right over him. If Flacco kept running, Alonso would've made a clean hit.

Ween and The Flaming Lips. Sure, everyone will be stoned on acid but at least it will be interesting...

(Oh, and regarding the awesome UCF space uniforms: They had constellations on their helmets. One of them was of the Taurus, the bull, getting slayed. Get it ? lol...)

EDIT: How about a cat show during halftime ? Or a combo cat and dog show like that one I believe in Japan where the cats run on tightropes and do tricks ? Now THAT would be awesome!

DOUBLE EDIT: Neither here nor there but I remember when Fox toyed with the idea of having a Mike Tyson-Evander Holyfield boxing match during halftime one year.

Regardless though, I won't bother watching any of it. I'll be watching the Beavis and Buttheads Butt Bowl instead, lol...

I think they just choose household names for Super Bowl performances. What I find odd is Janet Jackson is being punished and has been banned for her wardrobe malfunction in 2004... but JT hasn't. After all, he was the one who pulled off the bra cup exposing the nip. Funny how that catapulted his career, yet killed hers.

Bob Mcnair is a example of why players are kneeling. Absolutely disgusting seeing people defending thats POS. Im sure hes not the only owner who feels that way about their players.

I agree, but one of the articles i read compared him to Jerry Jones. That is pretty disrespectful. Jerry Jones is nowhere near that of McNair.

That is not to you, just stating things.

Re: UCF unis - haha, that rocks. :)
The homecoming unis were so badass. I saw they were auctioning off and selling the game-worn helmets after the game. How cool would it be to have one of those for work?? Unfortunately they were around $800 a helmet. :(

Maybe I'm in the minority around here, but I've rather enjoyed the halftime shows of the past few years. Lady Gaga was ok last year, and I thought the Super Bowl 50 show with Coldplay/Beyonce/Bruno Mars was exhilarating and amazingly fast-paced and fun.

Too many athletes today have been coddled since youth and have been raised to think they are demi-gods. They need to be knocked down a few pegs and experience what everyone else has to hear and go through in life, especially in the work place.

Btw, Richard Sherman is one of biggest overrated players in league history. He has been a media creation. Imo, he is about the 3rd or 4th corner on that team. How he has ever been to a pro bowl is a joke and proves that game is watered down.

Ronde Barber on his worst day > Richard Sherman on his best day.

And Debra Hopkins? Lets compare notes bud. He lives a privileged life and should feel fortunate.
