Get rid of Bowles and it's another step in the right direction for the Jets.

So where does Tony Romo end up next year? Even if Dak got hurt now and Tony came in and saved the day, I think Dallas is still going to move on from him next season.

    Think he goes to Denver?

This is way to early to start. The playoffs haven't even started yet. We really don't need this thread for another month. Jesus.

I think Denver would be foolish to take Romo. Siemian is pretty good for his age, and he's got a lot of years left in him. With Kyle Shanahan likely coming in, he'll probably make him or Paxton Lynch way better. Besides his price tag might be too big for what he's worth. He is good, but if he gets hurt that bad behind the Cowboys' offensive line, I don't see how he will make it in Denver. I think there is a possibility he will go to the Texans. It's close to Dallas, and Houston has seen far worse at this position. I assume he mentors Tom Savage for a few years there too.

I heard reports the Jets were interested in Romo. Please be true, Fitzpatrick is horrible.

    Building off my previous post.

Currently the top two coaching candidates for Broncos:

    1. Kyle Shanahan- OC Atlanta
    2. Vance Joseph- DC Miami

I hope Denver doesn't pick up Romo, I agree he is too injury prone for the teams current offensive line.

If he signs, in Houston that might also mean they have a new coach, rumors are if Houston doesn't make the Divisional round the coach is out. It doesn't bode well for Oswiler either.

Not for those of us with no team in the playoffs, now it's all about next season.

This is more premature than usual. Typically the new thread starts the second after the superbowl ends. With any luck, the Packers won't be relevant here until then.

He may be a good QB, but he's too injury prone. That and no... I don't want the Broncos to have a chance at going full Romo.

Quite premature to start this so early.

So who does everyone think Cleveland gonna draft first overall? Or are they gonna trade down again?

I don't think they will trade down again. Apparently, they're really looking into Myles Garrett.

My predictions for bounce back teams next year:
Minnesota Vikings- they looked like Super Bowl contenders at the start of the year until injuries started to stack up. If they find ways to fix the offensive line, that will help.

Denver Broncos- the defense should still be good, and their offense should improve if Kyle Shanahan becomes their head coach (which is very likely at this point).

Jacksonville Jaguars- I know I predicted them to be good last year, and they did worse, but they do have the talent to be good. They have a great wide receiving corps and an emerging defense. I think Blake Bortles does have it in him to get the job done. They looked much better in the last two weeks after firing Gus Bradley too.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers- they were in the hunt for a while, and they're defense looked great this year.

Carolina Panthers- it shouldn't take much to bring them back up to their level last year.

As far as Romo goes, If Dallas trades him is not going to be to a division rival and so help primus if the Vikings pull Herschel Walker level debacle of a trade for Romo I will scream bloody murder. We do not need him. especially if Teddy can come back strong from his injury.

Shanahan would be a great choice but don't be surprised if Vance Joseph gets the job. He was interviewed before Kubiak got the job and was eventually offered the D.C. position but Cincinnati didn't let him out of his contract so we brought in Wade Phillips.
