I would really love it if Hollywood could stop labeling reboot movies as if they're somehow part of the Bay series. Nobody called The Dark Knight "Batman 17" or whatever number theatrical Batman movie it was. I guess we'll never escape the reputation of the Bayverse, no matter how dead it is.

 

Coincidentally, The Dark Knight is the seventh Batman movie.

 

When you think this movie is going to start filming ?

 

Hopefully next spring, but I know nothing about the process of Pre-production to Filming.

 

It’s Kind of funny how nowadays big franchise movies have the word “ the” before the actual name like the Batman and the suicide squad

And with that I'm excited.

 

The title and the continuity are literally the very last two things that will determine this movie's quality and/or entertainment level.

 

Interesting if true. The title "The Transformers" hints at a few things. First off, it seems to make it obvious to the general public that it's a new continuity. Second, it implies that it will be a G1-based movie, since that was the name of the cartoon. Third, it implies that it will be another big team-up movie (as opposed to a direct Bumblebee sequel or Optimus standalone movie).

I like the sound of it. It's simple and hints at a fresh new retro-inspired series. If they want to go the reboot route, I think giving the first film a very simple title is for the best, and future movies can build on that with subtitles. There is a tiny part of me that still would have liked to have seen a proper conclusion to TLK's story. If they make this a hard reboot, there's no chance (or at least very little) that will ever happen, even as a loose sequel. But I'm sure the new movie will be awesome, and probably forge a much more exciting path.

 

It this makes you feel better there’s a huge team trying to make a live action or cgi fan film concluding the series and it’s going pretty well so far

 

Considering the filmmakers themselves didn't have any plans for after TLK I commemorate them for the effort.
